Aloy is not originally fromGenshin Impact’sTeyvat, but she’s somehow found her way there anyway. Released as part of a crossover betweenHorizonandGenshin Impact,Aloy is a Cryo bow user that can be leveled up and ascended like any other character.

To do this, Aloy will need different materials, some of which are from Inazuma, and some of which are found in Mondstadt. Here’s everything Aloy needs for her ascensions, talent upgrades, and more.

Aloy Ascension Items
Aloy is a Cryo character, even if she’s not from this world. This means she’ll use Shivada Jade like the other Cryo characters, as well as everything else listed here.

Gemstones - Where to Find Shivada Jade
Shivada Jade, as well as every other elemental stone, can be created in a Parametric Transformer, obtained by completing daily commissions, and purchased from souvenir shops. Much of it will come from bosses, though. The following bosses can drop Shivada Jade:
*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Shivada Jade when they’re aligned with Cryo.

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Specter Drops
Specters are some of the most annoying enemies in the game, but players will need to defeat them if they want to ascend Aloy without spending Masterless Stardust. These enemies can be found dotted around Inazuma, specifically Seirai Island, Watatsumi Island, and in Enkanomiya. A few can also be found elsewhere, though they are primarily found in the Electro nation.Click here for a full location guide.
Specters need to be certain levels to drop certain materials.
Boss Drop - How to Get Crystalline Bloom
For Aloy’s boss drop, she’ll need to head over to Mondstadt — specifically Dragonspine, where the Cryo Hypostasis can be found.
This boss can drop Crystalline Blooms, which Aloy needs to ascend. However, Aloy herself should sit this fight out, as the Cryo Hypostasis is immune to Cryo damage.

Local Specialty - Where to Find Crystal Marrow
Crystal Marrow is a strange substance that seems to be produced by the remains of Orobashi. This explains why it can be found around Orobashi’s skeleton on Yashiori Island. However, it’s also used in the Mikage Furnace, so it can be found nearby the area.

Like the boss drop Aloy needs for ascension, she’ll need to head to Mondstadt for her talent upgrades as well. This is because she uses the Freedom series of talent books. She’ll also need the other materials and Mora listed here:

Talent Books - Freedom
The Freedom series of talent books is found in Mondstadt’s Forsaken Rift domain. They’re available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
Trounce Materials - Molten Moment
Heading back to Inazuma, Aloy needs a trounce drop from the region. Defeating La Signora in the Tenshukaku trounce can reward Molten Moments, which Aloy uses in her talent upgrades.
