Apex Legendshas been providing players with a steady stream of content, most recently the Grand Soirée Arcade Event launched providing characters with new skins. There still looks to be new items and events arriving in the future, but there is also leaked evidence of Legends coming to the title. Of course, leaks should be taken with a pinch of a salt as previous rumors of new Legends such as Rosie have yet to appear in the game.

There are a lot of rumors about who is thenext playable character inApex Legends. Data miner That1MiningGuy has uncovered files that suggest Forge will be the next available character and these files include an image that matches character-specific moves which were previously found. Six moves had been uncovered for the character of Forge, all of which are wrestling-themed and this appears to match the image that the miner uncovered. The concept art is of a cyber armed wrestler.
The large character will likely be a Tank and it will be interesting to see if the uncovered moves add a mele dimension to the Legend. The characters belt and wrapped hand follow the tropes of wrestling, while his bionic arm matches him to the aesthetics ofApex Legends. There isdebate about the best Legendsto play as and if this character is Forge and does appear in the game, it will likely add another factor into the discussion.
There looks to beplenty of content coming toApex Legendsin 2020and with these new items, there will undoubtedly be new characters. Whether Forge appears this year remains to be seen but there is evidence of the conception of the character from the files that have been mined. Many players will want to play as the Legend as soon as possible, however,Apex Legendsseems to have a lot of content to deliver and has yet to confirm the character.
