Where to Start A Fury from the Sea?

A Fury from the Sea begins in the northeastern section of East Anglia. The allied forces ofthis section of Englandhave established a forward camp at the abandoned and destroyed castle here with plenty of soldiers and ships in the area. to start the quest, players have to track down their contact for this part of the game, Finnr.

He is the top of the cliff and just outside the decaying structure. Speaking with him will present the players the option to begin the attack on Rued’s clan’s home base or exit dialogue. The next part of the quest takes Eivor straight into the attack on Burgh Castle, one of thelocations of hidden wealth in East Anglia.

How to Conquer Burgh Castle?

After a cinematic scene, players are dropped into their longship among an invasion force. The goal here is to avoidthe numerous fire arrow attackslaunched by the defending forces of the castle. Moving the longship and bracing should be enough for players to get close to the castle and for the next phase of the attack to begin. Once on land, there are enemies both in front of the battering ram and on either side of the defensive works. Clear those enemies bothering the battering ram first and be sure to utilize the explosive red jars to deal with the archers.

This opens up the actual shipyard gate for attack but a whole new assortment of enemies. The tricky situation with this gate is that the defenders will pour oil and light it almost immediately afterward. This can deal quite a lot of damage to both the assisting Vikings and the player and needs to be avoided at all costs. Fortunately, the game displays a slowly-filling circle when the liquid is being poured and players should wait until the fire burns away before charging the wall.

With that gate down, there is just one more defensive work to destroy, but it doesn’t feature any similar protection. Players just need to sort out the archers on top of the wall to make this step easier. Once through the wall, the next phase presents players with a few different options for completing the mission and bring about one of the moreimpactful choices inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.

How to Defeat Rued in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?

The final phase of this quest is to fight with Rued, but this can be completely avoided if players are able to sneak around the fight arena. There is a line of rope stretched directly over where Rued stands with his wolf and this rope can be accessed from the large stone tower on the left or the wooden tower on the right. From this rope players can assassinate Rued and just fight his wolf solo before the final cutscene plays. Unlikesome of the conversations inAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, the following cutscene features an important decision.

The other option is to climb up and fight Rued and his Rapid Wolf. This can be a challenging prospect as both have unique attacks. Of note in this fight, Rued will throw lit axes at Eivor throughout the event and light his longsword ablaze when he gets near to being defeated. With the battle over, players are given the choice to either spare or kill this character and either decision has an impact on howthis arc inAssassin’s Creed Valhallaplays out.
