DestinyandMonster Hunterfans who might’ve been looking to dip their toes intoAssassin’s Creed Valhallanow have additional reasons to do so, as the game may be receiving crossover items from these franchises very soon.Valhallais no stranger to crossovers from other, completely unrelated franchises, but the ones featured as part of the game’s final update seem particularly ambitious.
Ubisoft is wrapping upAssassin’s Creed Valhallawith a comprehensive send-off chapter, which launched early on December 30. Long-lasting fans of the game have been promised one last batch of content before the developer moves on to other projects, and it would seem that one aspect of the aptly titled The Last Chapter may feature a surprising variety of items from a few very popular IPs.

Now thatAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Last Chapter has launched early, YouTuber MAK Moderator has posted a video detailing some of the new weapons and armor sets they uncovered by diving into the game’s files, with the footage focusing on theDestinyandMonster Huntercollaboration items. Specifically, these include sets inspired by Saint-14 and Lord Shaxx fromDestiny, as well as an Odogaron armor fromMonster Hunter. MAK Moderator also mentioned in the video description that at least one more outfit, a number of weapons, and raven and mount skins were hidden in the game files. These items are not yet accessible to players, but it’s expected that they will eventually be made available for purchase.
This isn’t the first timeValhallareceived a slightly out-of-place crossover, it’s worth pointing out. Some fans argued thatAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Marvel crossoverwas a step too far already, and the fact that Ubisoft is using its final content update to introduce another batch of jarring items to the game isn’t going to thrill players who yearn for a more authentic approach to content.
Players excited about the upcoming release ofAssassin’s Creed Miragewill be thrilled to hear that one of the new armor sets inValhalla’s Final Chapter comes from the nextACtitle. Indeed, the rumoredAssassin’s Creed Miragecrossover inValhallahas now been confirmed thanks to Ubisoft’s early release of this content update, connecting the two franchise entries with one another.
Curiously,Valhallaisn’t the only game thatDestinyhas crossed over with as of late. Just a few months back, Bungie teamed up with Epic Games to deliver aDestinyxFortniteandFall Guyscollaborationas part of its Epic Games Store release celebration. CertainMonster Hunteritems, on the other hand, made their way intoSonic Frontiers, allowing players to dress the blue hedgehog up in one of Capcom’s iconic scale armor sets.
