Recently, a user on TikTok known as Stephanie posted a video of anAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscake. She revealed that her husband designed the cake for their 9-year-old daughter’s birthday. The cake incorporated their daughter’s favorite house design, along with her character.

The house includes a red-shingled roof with a small chimney jutting out from the top. The siding for the structure is predominantly white, with brown support beams to add some depth to the design. In addition to the detailed house design, the cake boasts several items from the popular game, such as a fruit tree. It even features the title sign fromAnimal Crossing: New Horizons, except the lettering has been replaced to read: “happy birthday.” Furthermore, the cake design starred theclassic characters Tom Nook and Isabellestanding next to the in-game character of the baker’s daughter.
In the video, Stephanie captured the painstaking work her husband went through to build the intricate design of the house. From using a cookie cutter to create the fence posts to sculpting each flower that lined the yard, it was evident the amount of time the baker put into the project. One particularly intriguing highlight of the cake building process was her husband’s choice to use a wireframe system to support the character bodies.
Since posting the video on October 23, theAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsbirthday cake has made a big impression with fans on TikTok. The video has gained over 748.3K views on the platform. In addition, it has received over 206.6K likes. Besides this stunning cake, Stephanie revealed that her husband has made several other cakes from popular series,such asToy StoryandThe Incredibles. Amazingly, her husband is not a professional baker. Instead, he learned how to bake from YouTube videos to make birthday cakes for his daughters.
This isn’t the only cool creation made based onAnimal Crossing: New Horizons. Recently, anotherfan created a sculpture of a gyroidcoming to the game in the November 5 update. With so many talented artists in theAnimal Crossingcommunity, it seems like the sky is the limit for what fans will make next.
