Summary
Marksman rifles inCall Of Duty: Warzone Mobilesit in a strange niche between battle rifles and sniper rifles. Neither fish nor fowl, it can be hard to find a place on the battlefield for them. Many players simply never use them, as they cannot work out how to fit them into their playstyle. But these weapons do have a use, especially as abackup weaponto use when forced into medium or long-range combat when the player’s primary weapon would not be effective.
There is a narrow selection of Marksman Rifles available inCall Of Duty: Warzone Mobileas part of the core weapon lineup. However, weapons granted as rewards for participating in events or other special challenges are not. All of these rifles aresynced via crossplay to both desktop and mobileclients.
A Medium Range, Basic Marksman Rifle
Recommended weapon mods:
The LM-S from Lachmann is unremarkable in every way. It can safely be said that most players will not even bother unlocking this marksman rifle inCall Of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The only thing it has going for it is good accuracy and recoil control.
Handling, mobility, and damage are middle of the road with this rifle. It could be used as an average long-range rifle, but there are much better options in the marksman rifle lineup for this.
Long-Range Death Dealer
The EBR-14 combines fairly high damage with great range, recoil control, and accuracy to provide a devastating long-range combat platform. A good player willbe able to farm headshotswith a properly kitted-out EBR-14.
But there has to be a downside to being such a devastating long-range weapon, and this holds true in the fact that the EBR-14 has terrible handling and mobility. And with a 10-round magazine and just 20 rounds in reserve, the player has to make every shot count.
More Than Just A Cosmetic Oddity
Chambered for .45 ammo, the Lockwood MK2 is very obviously a head nod to the classic Winchester repeating rifles that are still popular today. But does it have a place on the modern battlefield? The simple answer is no. Unless the player wants to carry this rifle for purely stylistic reasons, it is outperformed by several other options.
One thing that the Lockwood MK2 does well is enable the player to set up a second shot on the target very quickly. Good damage, great accuracy, and good recoil control mean getting that second shot should be a breeze in the right hands.
A Modern Composite Rifle Chassis With A Bolt Action
The SA-B 50 is one of the most interesting weapons inCall Of Duty: Warzone Mobile. It combines modern composite construction with a bolt-action firing system. Very much like a combat-readyhunting riflein other games. Indeed, the SA-B 50 blurs the divide between marksman rifles andsniper rifles, making it a very adaptable weapon.
Excellent damage, accuracy, and recoil control make this a rifle that can hit its target. Unfortunately, it has a fairly low optimal range. Where the SA-B shines is being used as a mid-range sniping platform. At longer ranges, its effectiveness falls off.
It is hard to choose between the SP-R 208 and the aforementioned SA-B 50. On paper, they seem almost identical. What the SP-R 208 brings to the fight is a little more effectiveness at higher ranges due to a much better balance between accuracy and range.
But with a 5-round magazine and just 10 rounds in reserve, this is an awkward weapon to use in longer battles. It is agood rifleoverall, but takes some skill to be able to get the best out of it.
Almost A Sniper Rifle
An easy way to sum up the TAQ-M is to say that it is a rifle for players who keep missing their target. Chambered for the 6.5mm sniper round, this weapon has good damage, range, and accuracy. Combined with the 10-round magazine and 30-rounds in reserve, it is a weapon for players who like to fight at range, but are not skilled at placing their shots.
The TAQ-M is most effective at medium-range, but it can still be pretty effective at long-range if the player takes time to place their shots accurately. However, players who do have good accuracy would probably be better off switching to a sniper rifle instead.
The M4 assault rifle is one of the most popular weapons inCall Of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The Tempus Torrent is based on the M4, but with some heavy modifications to turn it into a fantastic long-range marksman rifle. With a best-in-class combination of damage, range, and accuracy, it almost seems that nobody told this weapon that it isn’t a sniper rifle.
Incredibly, this weapon has an ammo loadout that beats some assault rifles. With a 20-round magazine and a massive 60 rounds in reserve, the Tempus Torrent is one of the harder weapons to unlock inWarzone Mobile, but well worth the effort if players take the time to get it done.
