This update will add three new entries to the list, bringing the total number of entries to 23.
Fallout 4 is a game that is fun for multiple playthroughs. The inclusion of mods just helps to increase the game’s overall replayability. Despite being a decade old, Fallout 4 is still receiving lots of new players who are eager to explore the ruins of post-war Boston. These additional mods can help make conquering the wasteland that little bit easier.

Some might see it as a little bit too futuristic
This weapon is perfect for those wishing to unleash mayhem onto robots and Power Armor fanatics across the Commonwealth.The LAER (Laser Assisted Electrical Rifle) fires highly charged electrical beams that are extra devastating to Synths, robots, and those wearing Power Armor.
Even against standard enemies, this weapon is very effective at removing any would-be attackers from the game. While the weapon isn’t too overpowered, some players may feel like this weapon is a little too futuristic for the game. That said, there are also plenty of users who have downloaded this mod and love using this weapon.
Players Who Haven’t Played Older Games May Not Understand Their Worth
The Bullpup Bozar was available inFallout 2andFallout New Vegas Gun Runner’s ArsenalDLC.The weapon is a powerful sniper rifle that comes with custom models, textures, and animations.For those who have only playedFallout 4,they may not see the value behind this weapon. Fallout 4does have lots of explosive weapons. However, there is always room for more. The Remote Explosives mod introduces a handful of new explosives that are well-balanced and fit the game’s lore.If the player is going for a sneak build, then these explosives can be used to take down enemies stealthfully.
Some of the more popular explosives that come with this mod are the Remote Nuke, a Plasma Charge, and an Improvised Explosive Device. There are 12 new skins for the detonator and they are all craftable at a weapon workbench.
May feel too futuristic for some players
The default assault rifle in the Commonwealth is an odd-looking gun that leaves much to be desired. Players hungry for a pre-war assault rifle will yearn for the RU556 - Assault Rifle. The mod adds a modern-day assault rifle with high-resolution graphics. Obtaining the RU556 is no simple task, as players must chase down rumors regarding its recent sighting on a ship. The pre-war ship was transporting the weapon illegally before the nukes landed, and gamers will receive the gun after completing the new “Unfinished Deal” quest.
The RU556 looks closer to a weapon out of Tarkov, as the modder took time to create custom animations for first and third-person perspectives. Another aspect that the modder focuses on is the audio, as all the gun sounds are crisp and polished. Many customization options are available for the RU556, allowing players to tweak the weapon to their liking. For players seeking to match the aesthetic of the weapon in theFallout 4environment, they should consider turning the Commonwealth intoa volcanic wasteland.

Not accurate to the real-life counterpart
Players who explored the Mojave Desert ofFallout: New Vegaswill be thrilled to find that the Assault carbine is attainable inFallout 4through a mod. The M2216 Standalone Assault Rifle adds the assault carbine and updates it tosupport weapon customization, new barrels, and functional scopes.
The gun fits flawlessly into the Commonwealth through its previous appearance in the Mojave wasteland. Carrying the weapon will have a nostalgic effect since many playerspreferredFallout: New VegasoverFallout 4. Currently, there is no legitimate way to find the M2216 rifle other than using a console command.
Must be spawned in
Not every gun needs to be a primary since many players prefer to run astealth infiltrator build. A silenced pistol is the hallmark of any stealth game due to its excellent sneak capabilities and reasonable damage output.
Adopting the M9 Standalone Pistol into stealth builds will add immersion into the game. The M9 pistol is customizable, allowing for personalized tuning and adding a necessary suppressor attachment. Like many other weapon mods, the only way players can obtain the M9 pistol is through console commands.

Reticles may not be everyone’s favorite
Scoped weapons are essential for stealthy players who prefer to pick off enemies from a safe distance. The normal scope animation enshrouds the player’s vision solely to the scope and blocks everything else. With See Through Scopes, however, players can retain a view of their surroundings while scoping.
Players now aim through the actual scope and not an artificial overlay. The new aiming animation with scopes feels more natural and immersive and makes the weapons feel more real. The mod adds 2.5x, 4x, and 8x magnification and can replace the vanilla scopes if desired.
Starts appearing at level 25
There are a lot ofrifles in theFalloutuniverse, though players might find their new favorite by trying out the DKS-501 Sniper Rifle. The gun is inspired by an iconic sniper rifle fromFallout 3and was added toFallout 4as a standalone weapon.
The weapon has extensive customization options that allow it to be deadly in close and far-range encounters. The DKS-501 has custom reload animations and blends well as a powerful sniper rifle. It even has high-resolution textures. Players also have the option to add custom firing sounds for different receiver modifications for the sniper rifle. The DKS-501 can be obtained through regular loot, but it is rare. This introduces the weapon in an immersion-friendly way and allows players to avoid using console commands to acquire it.
Doesn’t work on all weapons
The weapon modification system inFallout 4is great, but making it more flexible gives players new possibilities for the vanilla weapons. Extended Weapon Mods targets specific weapons and gives them unique modifications.
The mod also adds a new weapon called the pipe machine gun and has its own extensive weapon mods. One of the weapon mods features a stock that converts the 10mm pistol weapon into a rifle and includes new meshes and stats to match the change.

The weapon pack adds around ten weapons into the game and introduces them into the loot pool. The higher-tier weapons will only be accessible to higher-level players, leading to balanced gameplay. To stay alive at the higher levels, players will have access to a variety of miniguns. For the lower levels, there are revolvers, tactical shotguns, and a light machine gun.
