Hirohiko Araki’s popular manga series,JoJo’sBizarreAdventureis among the most loved series. It has a dedicated fanbase, which grows with every passing day. The first part was released all the way back in 1987 and Araki has since released seven more parts after it.

With atotal of eight different parts, Araki has created all kinds of characters. While all of them are unique in their own ways, only some of them have left a lasting impression on the minds of the readers. These characters have been written in a special way, which separates them from the rest.
10Johnny Joestar
Johnny Joestar is the protagonist ofSteelBallRun, the seventh installment in theJoJoseries. In the beginning, Johnny was a paraplegic, who had lost everything that he once held dear. Johnny’s life drastically changed when he met Gyro.
As the series continued, Johnny became more and more focused on getting the parts of the Saint’s corpse in order to get back his normal body. He was determined to do anything to return to normal, however, he was really caring as he gave up all the parts of the Saint’s corpse in exchange for Gyro.
9Jolyne Cujoh
Unlike her father, Jolyne had a very impressive debut in her own part. A rebellious teen, she was sentenced to prison for 20 years after being wrongly framed. Once inside the prison, Jolyne went through a lot of changes.
She managed to make some really good friends such as Ermes, Foo Fighters, Emporio, etc. They helped Jolyne on several occasions. Jolyne also became more open-minded and she started to see things from different perspectives. This allowed her to form a close bond with her father, whom she once hated.
8Gyro Zeppeli
Gyro Zeppeli is undoubtedly one of the best-written characters in the series. Introduced in Part 7, Gyro was participating in the Steel Ball Run race to free an innocent young kid named Marco.

Despite his looks, Gyro was a very kind individual, who would risk his life to save his friends and even strangers. He was responsible for teaching Johnny about many important things, including how to take a defeat on the chin. Furthermore, he helped Johnny to return to his normal life that had been ruined by paraplegia.
7Bruno Bucciarati
Despitebeing a secondary character, his involvement in Part 5 is so great that it would be easy to mistake him for the protagonist. Bruno played a key role in holding his group together against all odds and he was responsible for Giorno achieving his goal.
Bruno’s past wasn’t the best as he saw his parents get a divorce and then his father was shot by gangsters. He would go on to kill the gangsters and ended up joining Passione to get protection for his father. Eventually, the organization betrayed Bruno’s trust, which resulted in his father’s death. Despite all his hardships, Bruno remained a kind person, who was loved by everyone.
6Diego Brando
Diego Brando was introduced as an antagonist in Part 7. As a kid, Diego was very caring, but his mother’s death changed him as a person, and through the years, Diego’s ideology completely changed. From a nobody, he became a world-renowned horse jockey.
He participated in the Steel Ball Run race, and he was among the favorites to win it. Diego’s attention shifted towards the Saint’s Corpse and in order to get his hands on it, Diego formed several alliances, but he only remained loyal to himself.
5Jotaro Kujo
Jotaro Kujo had an underwhelming debut in comparison to the other Joestars, however, he made up for it in other parts. In Part 4, he acted as the teacher of Josuke and helped to protect the town.

Then in Part 6, Jotaro appeared to save his daughter from Enrico Pucci. Towards the end ofStoneOcean, he had become a man, who cared more about protecting his daughter than defeating the main antagonist.
4Enrico Pucci
He is easily thestrongest character in Stone Ocean. Enrico Pucci drew a lot of inspiration from DIO, which helped him to formulate goals. Pucci became obsessed with the idea of changing the entire universe. After toiling a lot, Pucci managed to evolve his Stand into Made in Heaven.
With the power of his Stand, Pucci managed to reset the universe. Unlike most antagonists, Pucci only intended to create a world that was filled with good. However, he didn’t realize that a world without free will would have been atrocious.
3Funny Valentine
A man with lofty ambitions, Funny Valentine was the main villain ofSteelBallRun. He possesses Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap or D4C,which is one of the strongest Stands in the series. He was obsessed with getting the Saint’s Corpse and he planned to make the United States better than every single country on the earth. Valentine’s patriotism made him oblivious to the fact that he would destroy the entire world in the process.
2Kira Yoshikage
Kira Yoshikage is a veryunique JoJo villain. He terrorized Morioh with his Stand, killing numerous innocent people. However, Kira had no big ambitions. He only wanted to enjoy his obsession with hands and live a quiet and peaceful life. All these qualities separated him from the other villains who had very lofty ambitions.
1Dio Brando
Responsible for causing immense pain to several generations of the Joestar bloodline, Dio Brando was truly a malevolent individual. Dio had no remorse for any of his actions. He manipulated people, stabbed them in the back, and committed many more unforgivable acts. His evil charisma charmed the fans, which led to him becoming one of the most iconic anime villains.
