Summary
Boruto: Two Blue Vortexcontinues to excite the fans every month with incredible chapters packed with exciting battles, and at the same time, a lot of new information. This month’s chapter of Boruto was extremely special in more ways than one. Not only did it give fans informationpertaining to Boruto Uzumaki’s new fighting abilities, but at the same time, it also focused deeply on the Shinju, and introduced new concepts surrounding their power to the fans.
One of the most intriguing things that fans saw in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 12 was the Thorn Soul Bulb, which was introduced after Boruto Uzumaki dealt with Hidari.
The Shinju And Their Core
The Shinju Are Created With the Chakra Source Of The Parent Body
The Shinju serve the role of the antagonists in the very first segment ofBoruto: Two Blue Vortex, and are incredibly powerful beings. This doesn’t come as a surprise to any fan, and they know that they hold tremendous power up their sleeve. The shinju are essentiallyborn because of Code. He utilized the power of his Claw Marks on the juvenile 10 Tails that Isshiki had under him. After that, he reduced the Ten Tails to humanoid versions, and each of them started developing their own sentience. Still, they simply went and consumed their nearest source of chakra, and when that happened enough times, it gave birth to new individuals with distinct names, personalities, and purposes.
We appear to have evolved a bit, thanks to you awakening self-awareness. – Jura
These Shinju clones are incredibly powerful, and they form the latest antagonist group in Boruto. Fans got to see the Shinju extensively in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex over the course of the last few chapters, and their powers are truly mesmerizing. It is safe to say that they hold enough strength to surpass the vast majority of the enemies that fans have seen in the Boruto series as of yet, and they still have a lot of potential to grow. As things stand, there are four Shinju clones in Boruto, and they are Bug, Matsuri, Hidari, and Jura. Specifically, Hidari and Jura are believed to be the strongest of the lot, and fans have already seen them in action in Konoha on various occasions.
What is most shocking about these Shinju is that they aren’t just normal humanized versions of the Ten Tails or the God Tree. Instead, they take after the person who is absorbed by the tree, which makes them starkly resemble their parent body. For instance,Hidari looks just like Sasuke, has almost all of his abilities, and similar fighting prowess. Similarly, Matsuri was born from Moegi being absorbed by the tree, and once again, the powers that she holds are similar to those of Moegi herself. This adds a new layer of intrigue to these Shinju and fans know that they are going to light up the Boruto series moving forward.
All the Shinju certainly are very intriguing, but one thing that the fans need an answer to is how defeating them can bring back the individuals who became victims of the Claw Grimes. For instance, Sasuke and Moegi need to be saved, among many others. These individuals were consumed by Claw Grimes and turned into a tree. To bring them back, Boruto recently introduced the concept of Thorn Soul Bulb, and this idea is certainly going to excite the fans.
What Is The Thorn Soul Bulb?
The Thorn Soul Bulb Is The Core Of A Shinju
Boruto’s latest chapter did not give the fans any answer as to what a Thorn Soul Bulb truly is. Fans only saw the bulb in the flesh, and that was it. The Throne Soul Bulb was presented after Boruto Uzumaki utilized Maximum Output Uzuhiko on Hidari, essentially reducing him to shreds. Hidari’s upper torso was still alive, which is where Kawaki stepped in, and blew it to smithereens. Precisely at this point in time, an inner core appeared from inside his body, which looked like an onion bulb. This bulb had the sign of the Rinnegan at the bottom, and Boruto Uzumaki called it the Thorn Soul Bulb.
Soon after, Kashin Koji confirmed that it was what he saw before, meaning that he has had an interaction with one of the Shinju clones and defeated them to the point where the Thorn Soul Bulb was then used to rescue the original body.
All I know is that the Thorn Soul Bulb is the key to saving old man Sasuke. – Boruto Uzumaki
Boruto clearly mentioned that the Thorn Soul Bulb can be used to bring back Sasuke, and this was extremely important to him. Unfortunately for him, he was sniped by Jura right through his chest, and when Sarada attempted to pick up the bulb, so was she. Jura took the bulb and grabbed it, and it might just be that he ends up consuming it in the upcoming chapters of Boruto.
Regardless, what fans know is that the Thorn Soul Bulb holds the key to bringing back the person who is absorbed by the Grimes. This essentially links the Thorn Soul Bulb to the person themselves. Perhaps, the chakra and the DNA of the individuals who become the victims of the Claw Grimes is stored inside of the Thorn Soul Bulb. Essentially, without the Thorn Soul Bulb, the Tent Tails would just remain how it is. It is this bulb that gives them the personality, chakra nature, and just about every bit of instinct of the body that they target. In other words, Sasuke’s personality, powers, among all the things, rest inside the torn sole bulb.
How The Thorn Soul Bulb Can Save The Victims
The Throne Soul Bulb Is The Key To Saving Sasuke
Boruto Uzumaki clearly mentioned that the Thorn Soul Bulb can savethe life of Sasuke Uchiha. This bulb is essential to bring back Sasuke, and it might just be that obtaining this bulb was his mission, to begin with. However, how exactly the bulb would save the individual isn’t known. A good guess would be that the bulb, when put next to Sasuke’s body, would give him his consciousness back. Another guess would be that Sasuke would have to be forcibly fed this bulb in order for him to wake up and for the tree to release him. As things stand, fans don’t know how exactly the bulb can help save the victims. What fans do know is that this bulb is absolutely essential if the victims are to be saved.
Hopefully, Boruto can explain the concept of Thorn Soul Bulb in the upcoming chapters, and it is likely that it will. Jura currently holds the Thorn Soul Bulb in his hands, and this simply means that he intends to either preserve it to ensure that Hidari comes back to life, or to consume it and gain even greater power.
Fans simply need to sit back and wait for the nextBorutochapter, which is sure to give them an exciting battle between Jura and Boruto, and at the same time, explain how the Thorn Soul Bulb works and what Jura intends to do with it now.
