Another weekend of Double XP is headed toCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Unlike theDouble XP forCall of Dutyin late March, this four-day bash appears to be exclusive toCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. However, there is a lot in store for fans to do in the multiplayer game.
Season 3 ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarandWarzoneis right around the corner, but fun can be had in the meantime. Recently the Crossbow was added toBlack Ops Cold War,as was a new 6v6 map (Miami Strike), a large multi-team map (Golova), and a small-scale map (Mansion). Taking advantage of some Double XP with new content is a good deal, and many will want to progress as much as possible before Season 3 begins.

Treyarch just revealed that a four-day Double XP weekend is set to begin on June 14, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. PT inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The announcement came in a tweet, not in the weekly briefing (as the last Double XP weekend did), so details are not as substantial this time around. However, the start of the Double XP is just a few days away.
As far as the tweet is concerned, the Double XP does not appear to be for otherCall of Dutygames, which means noWarzone,which could soon beobliterated by a nuke and given a new map. Additionally, there is no clarification if this Double XP is for standard experience, weapon XP, and/or Battle Pass XP. It certainly could be that the Double XP will be all-encompassing, but normally the announcement makes it a more clear. The Double XP weekend will last through July 08, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. PT.
Another important thing to note is thatCall of Dutyhas given PlayStation users an additional Double XP day during these weekends in the past. The tweet does not provide that information, but it could prove to be true, and the Double XP could kick off on June 20, 2025 for PlayStation users instead. The extra day would be nice, and it could also be a decent win for PlayStation users in a week whereXbox Game Pass received a major victory withMLB The Show 21.
