TheCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warcommunity has wanted a change regarding the way the create-a-class and attachments work within the loadouts of the game since launch.Black Ops Cold Warhas deep loadout options, and the weapons themselves allow for plenty of attachment possibilities. However, the gun icon does not reflect what attachments have been selected. It makes it harder to select a gun option without easily seeing which attachments are a part of that specific loadout. Additionally, it is aesthetically more pleasing if the icon reflects what attachments are selected. Thankfully, the community is realizing that the change was finally implemented in a recent update of the game.
As small as it may be at a glance, it makes a big difference to players. It was also astrong feature inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare,so many were confused as to why the game took a step back from the previous iteration of the series. It is very nice to see the feature finally implemented in thisCall of Duty.
While many are rejoicing that the simple fix and request was finally granted, there are still plenty of concerns among the community.Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warreleased back in November of 2020, so it took four months for the implementation to be put in place. There are still other more serious complaints as well, including theBlack Ops Cold Warsplit-screen bug, plenty of other glitches, balancing concerns, cheaters, etc. While it is very important to be grateful when a request is granted, there are those who are concerned about the idea that there are simply so manyCall of Dutygames running at once–so much going on–that some problems are being swept under the rug.
