The addition of futuristic elements to theCall of Dutyformula has always been a point of contention among the community. It first dabbled in a futuristic aesthetic with 2012’sCall of Duty: Black Ops 2, although it wasn’t until 2014’sCall of Duty: Advanced Warfarethat Exo movement was introduced. It was a massive shake-up to what players were used to, giving them new ways to traverse each map in a fast-paced manner. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Fans Share Laser Gun Conflict

One player put it simply, claiming, “You guys shouldn’t be surprised after what they did to Vanguard,” with others pointing out the addition of silly skins and attachments in what was supposed to be a game set in World War 2. Others loved the fun potential of the laser guns, with one saying, “it’s a video game nearing the end of its lifecycle have some fun.” There will definitely be a few players who put this straight into theirCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3BAL-27 loadout, and as another user pointed out, it’s hardly farfetched, given the fact that “there is Nicki Minaj rotating to B after finishing off Rick Grimes who was camping with Skeletor.” There’s certainly an argument to be made that the addition of these skins from other franchises makes things like laser guns easier to take.
