As is typical of Tuesdays, Infinity Ward has released a brand newCall of Duty: Modern Warfareupdate, with this one changing up the playlists in the game significantly. Upon downloading the new update,Modern Warfarefans will be able to try out a new Gunfight variant as well as play on some of the most popular maps, 24/7 style.

The newCall of Duty: Modern Warfareupdate adds regular Gunfight back to the mix, along with Gunfight 3v3 - Knives Only, which replaces the snipers only variant that has been in the game for the past couple of weeks. Meanwhile,Call of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers can also check out the Deathmatch Domination and Drop Zone game modes, in addition to two 24/7 playlists based on the game’s two most popular maps. Shoot House 24/7 andShipment 24/7are both back inModern Warfareas of the latest update.

Meanwhile,Infinity Wardhas also changed up theCall of Duty: Warzoneplaylists with the latest update. For the most part, theWarzoneplaylists are staying the same, except Plunder Quads has been removed and has been replaced by Plunder: Blood Money Trios. Some fans prefer the pure version of Plunder as opposed to the Blood Money variant, so it will be interesting to see how the community reacts to this playlist change.

Call of Dutyfans have even more to look forward to this coming weekend, withJuggernaut Royale returning toWarzone. Infinity Ward has also confirmed that this weekend will be Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Tier Progression, givingCall of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzoneplayers perhaps their best chance yet at completing the Season 4 Battle Pass.

Call of Dutyfans that want to complete theSeason 4 Battle Passshould note that they are running out of time to do so. The Season 4 Battle Pass ends next Tuesday, August 4, and will soon be replaced by Season 5, expected to kick off on Wednesday, August 5. Infinity Ward has yet to reveal exactly whatModern WarfareandWarzoneSeason 5 has in store, but more information should come next week.

While nothing official aboutModern WarfareorWarzoneSeason 5 has been announced, there have been some leaks, rumors, and teases as to what fans can expect. One of the prevailing theories is thatWarzoneSeason 5 will open up Stadium and add moving trains to the map, whereasModern Warfaremay be adding anew Gunfight map called Cornfield. Again, fans can expect more details next week.
