Nearly every Tuesday,Call of Duty: Modern Warfaregets a new update of some kind, and this week is no different. Activision has detailed what fans can expect from theCall of Duty: Modern WarfareJuly 7 update, which will bring with it a variety of new playlists for fans of the popular FPS to try.

First up is the new Bomb Plant Moshpit playlist, which will let players play matches of Demolition as well asSearch and Destroyon a variety of maps. Secondly, theModern WarfareJuly 7 update will also be adding Realism Gun Game to the mix, with players cycling through a variety of blueprints as they fight without the usual HUD benefits. And finally,Modern Warfarefans can look forward to the return of Dirty Old Houseboat, which is a playlist consisting of only small maps like Rust, Shipment, and Shoot House.

It will be interesting to see how long Dirty Old Houseboat lasts inModern Warfare. Last week, Infinity Ward added the Shoot the Ship playlist to the game, only to split upShipmentand Shoot House into separate playlists just a couple of days later. One has to wonder if Dirty Old Houseboat will suffer a similar fate later this week.

On theWarzoneside of things, it looks like the playlists are pretty much staying the same. Players will be able to participate in Solos, Duos, and Trios with the standard player count, as well as try out theBlood Money game mode. However, 200 player Quads is staying in the game for the time being, givingWarzonefans more opportunities to play the super-sized limited-time mode. The lack of standard Quads is a bit surprising, however, especially since some fans have been vocal about their dislike of 200 player Quads.

With200 player Quadsbeing a limited-time mode,Warzonefans can rest assured that regular Quads will be returning to the battle royale at some point down the line. Meanwhile, it’s possible that other new limited time modes will be introduced as well, like the recent Juggernaut Trios. However, it seems as though Juggernaut Trios wasn’t all that popular, as the developers look to be removing it from the playlists come July 7.

Meanwhile, fans can also look forward to the long-awaited return ofGunfight Tournaments, which should go live with the other new modes.
