Another leak has arrived to join the many currently debating the release date ofCall of DutyModern Warfare’supcoming battle royal mode, Warzone, but this one comes from a very reliable source. Like the others, however, it favors the idea of a release happening in early March.

The two current dates running around are March 3 and March 10 because they both fall on Tuesday’s, which is when Infinity Ward usually updatesModern Warfarewith new seasonal content. Out of these two dates, TheGamingRevolution – the leaker in question – believes thatWarzone will release on March 10, rather than the third.

He broke down his reasoning in one of his YouTube videos released a couple of days ago. From what he’s been hearing from the YouTubers and sources that Activision flew out to the influencer event that happened in mid-February,March 10 is still very much the set release date for Warzone. For those who don’t know, the March 10 release originated from the gaming news site, VGC, who allegedly got it from sources close to Infinity Ward. Because of this, TheGamingRevolution believes March 10 over March 3, though he does still advise that people take the date with a grain of salt as Infinity Ward has yet to announce or address anything officially.

There’s also the fact that there’s a lot of speculative evidence for both dates going around.Modern Warfarefans have found some in-game easter eggs that seem to hint at a March 3. One fan saw a movie poster in the Piccadilly map calledWar Beastthat has a March 3 release date. Another fan recently found a box in the Bazzar Gunfight map that also has March 3 written on it. Beyond that, some fans even believe that both March 3 and March 10 could be genuine, with March 3 releasing something like early access, and March 10 releasing the full version.

Lending a bit more credence to this, Infinity Ward recently teased that something new was coming to theModern Warfarevery soon. A few days ago, it changed the “Classified” section that’s been in the multiplayer menu since the start of Season 2 to “Incoming Transmission.” Considering all the floating rumors and hard leaks for Warzone that have happened in the past couple of weeks, some believe thatthis new update indicates Warzone’s arrival. Whatever it is, fans only have to wait three more days to find out.
