Call of Dutyoffered fans a workaround forCall of Duty: Warzone’s current Perk Package glitch. The newCall of Duty: Warzonebug sees users unable to equip Perk Packages properly when receiving their loadout during a game.
AfterCall of Duty’s Season 1 Reloaded update earlier this week, many fans were subjected to frustrating bugs, some of which were so severe that users couldn’t progress past the game’s menu screens. Fans were surprised at what was probably the most broken state that the game has seen in recent memory. However,Call of Dutyexplained why these issues occurred, which was apparently due to parts of future updates being added early and interfering with the current game. Following the introduction of these issues,Call of Dutyhas since released a set of updates that aimed to fix the more major problems, but some of the new glitches still exist.Call of Dutyoffered fans a solution for one of the more frustrating issues.
The official CODUpdates Twitter account explained that fans can use a temporary workaround to make their Perk Packages equip properly. First, players will need to equip their first and second Perk Package slots with the same perks. Then, edit or create a loadout and select Perk Package 1. Following these steps, users should be able to properly equip their Perk Package when receiving a loadout during a match. However, someWarzonefans report that the workaround doesn’t work for them, so it seems to be a hit-or-miss solution. The Perk Package glitch has been affecting users since Season 1 Reloaded’s release on January 17, so many fans might be excited to at least try the potential fix.
How to Fix Warzone Perk Package Glitch
On a similarly controversial note,Call of Dutyrecently re-added the troublesome Gaia skin, also known as “evil Groot.” This addition came alongside the Season 1 Reloaded update, with the skin now featuring a more opaque appearance that will hopefully alleviate its previous visibility issues.
Although the Season 1 Reloaded update is likely frustrating to most users,Call of Dutyrecently teased the return of a popularWarzoneperk, the Specialist Bonus. The extremely powerful perk hasn’t been seen inWarzonefor over a year, and allows users to equip every perk at once. Assuming it will behave like its previous iteration, the Specialist Bonus will likely be an ultra-rare loot item.
Additionally,Call of DutyannouncedWarzone’s new Covert Exfil featureearlier this month. Covert Exfil was originally meant to launch alongside the Season 1 Reloaded update, but has since been delayed until a future date, when it will be added to a newWarzonegame mode that’s centered around the feature.
