Activision has officially pulled the curtain back on the bigCall of Duty: WarzoneSeason 4 Reloaded update. Launching Thursday, July 15,Call of Duty: WarzoneSeason 4 Reloaded will be an 8.9 GB download on PlayStation consoles, 9.2 GB download on Xbox consoles and those with onlyWarzoneon their PC, and a 10.4 GB download for those that have bothWarzoneandModern Warfareon their PC. But in exchange for their precious storage space,Call of Duty: Warzonefans can look forward to quite a bit of content.
The big new addition toCall of Duty: Warzonewith the Season 4 Reloaded update is the Payload game mode.Payload isCall of Duty: Warzone’s first-ever objective-based mode, with two teams of 20 players battling it out. One team is the attack team with the goal of escorting vehicles across checkpoints within the time limit, while the defending team tries to stop their progress. Players will be able to utilize theirWarzonecustom loadouts while playing the mode.

The standardCall of Duty: Warzonebattle royale experience will be getting a new Killstreak for players to try in the meantime.Call of Duty: Warzone’s latest Killstreakis the Sentry Gun, which has had a consistent presence in theCall of Dutyfranchise over the years.Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers will find the Sentry Gun Killstreak in Red Door room supply boxes, meaning it’s going to be fairly rare compared to other Killstreaks in the game.
Speaking of the Red Doors,Call of Duty: WarzoneSeason 4 Reloaded is shaking up how the Red Doors work. Specific details are unavailable at this time, but Activision has teased that theCall of Duty: WarzoneRed Doorswill become “more mysterious” with the new update. It seems as thoughCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers will have to wait until the Season 4 Reloaded update is live to figure out how the Red Doors are changing.
There will be more content to look forward to later in the season as well. Specifically, Activision has confirmed the new Blueprint Blitz event type forCall of Duty: Warzone. The gimmick is thatCall of Duty: WarzoneContraband Contractswill automatically spawn after players have successfully completed two regular contracts. Completing the Contraband Contracts unlocks blueprints for use inCall of Duty: Warzonealong with some cash that players can use in the match. These blueprints will be from previous seasons, giving players that missed them the first time around another chance to add them to their collection.
All of this is on top ofCall of Duty: Warzone’s new gifting feature. After downloading the Season 4 Reloaded update, players can gift theCall of Duty: WarzoneBattle Passand store bundles to each other. Needless to say, Activision and Raven Software are going all-out withCall of Duty: WarzoneSeason 4 Reloaded, so it should be an exciting time for fans of the battle royale.
