For as popular asCall of Duty: Warzonehas been since it’s original launch back in the early months of 2020, it hasn’t always been a perfect experience. The free to play game has had no shortage of issues throughout its lifespan ranging from the harmless visual glitches, to more substantialgame breaking bugs such as the one that makes certain players invisible to others. Hackers have also been a massive issue for the longest time, though with promised fixes continually being added, players are hopeful that the tides can finally turn.
It’s been known for a while now thatCall of Duty: Vanguardis the next game in line, releasing in only a few short weeks.Vanguardtakes players back to the closing days of World War 2and naturally, this will be impactingCall of Duty: Warzone. While the integration betweenBlack Ops Cold WarandWarzonewas less than smooth, fans are hopeful that this time around, things won’t take a turn for the worst. What’s a bit strange is that even thoughCall of Duty: Vanguardisn’t available quite yet, some players have found a way to access a couple of guns early.

Call of Duty: Warzoneseason sixhas apparently added the M1 Garand and STG44 early, giving players an early opportunity to check out these classic World War 2 era weapons. It’s unknown if this was intentional or simply a bug, but whatever the case may be, fans have been able to play around with the weapons including the fact that both will still be able to use 10 attachments like the current suite of guns.
A YouTuber named Eriv has outlined the steps to unlocking each weapon, while also showing off how they perform inside of the online game mode. The process is fairly easy as players will need to load into aCall of Duty: Warzonemode with the Weapon Drop Field Upgrade. Locate the nearest Weapon Drop point and claim a weapon from it which has a chance of giving players either the M1 or STG 44. For those that don’t get it, the advice is to eliminate themselves and try again.
In addition to adding unreleased weapons,Season Six has also seemingly had a major impact on the current Verdansk map. Thanks to the actions of Special Operative Adler, seismic charges were detonated at secret World War 2 bunkers underground, causing large explosions and huge fissures to appear. Hotspots like Downtown, Stadium, and Radar Array have been significantly changed how players will need to approach these areas thanks to new cover points and places to hide becoming available.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
