Call of DutyZombiesfans may have plenty of fresh content to enjoy withinCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but fans still hold on to plenty of love for the classic versions of the mode. OneCall of DutyZombies player has turned this love into art, sharing an incredible Wunderwaffe DG-2 piece online.

Going by the name Zachaweee on Reddit, this is the second piece in a three-part series from the Redditor. The first entry in the series saw theRay Gun drawn by hand, with the artist depicting all the iconic features ofCall of DutyZombies’ original Wonder Weapon. Much like that art piece, the newest creation was made entirely with ink pens, showing an extreme level of dedication on the part of the Zombies fan. Just as strong as the first, this Wunderwaffe DG-2 drawing is packed with intricate details.

Created by iconicCall of DutyZombies character Edward Richtofen, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 is a blast to use in-game. Boasting an utterly unique design alongside some memorable sounds and the ability to chain bolts of lightning between enemies, the weapon has remained a fan favorite for years. First introduced in the map Shi No Numa, the gun was the second Wonder Weapon ever. As such, it seems fitting that Zachaweee shared this piece after the Ray Gun, and fans were understandably blown away by the effort the fan put in.

Covering a huge sheet of white paper, the unique barrel ofthe Wunderwaffe DG-2is the first thing that fans will notice about the piece. Clearly the work of a scientist trying to improvise, the metal ends look far less polished than some other Wonder Weapon designs — an intentional decision that adds to the charm of the weapon. Some incredible shading techniques and texturing can be seen on the top of the weapon, its grip, and its stock. The artist also nails the light bulbs that serve as the gun’s ammo, with many commenters praising the gorgeous piece and offering to buy it.

This is the second time this year that aCall of DutyZombies fan has paid homage to the Wunderwaffe, as a YouTuber named Nick Martinelli recreated the gun using a 3D printer and hand-made parts. Even boasting the ability to function as a flamethrower, theWunderwaffe DG-2 replicawas terrific. As for Zachaweee, the artist has teased a final piece in his collection, and it will be interesting to see what weapon or item rounds out the set.

WhileCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarZombies fanscannot use the weapon in-game, it would be great to see it return at some point in the future. With the weapon having made several appearances since Shi No Numa, it seems like only a matter of time before it shows up inCall of DutyZombiesonce again.
