At the moment, it is unclear who the next playable character will be. However, Capcom’s tweet included a silhouette of the upcoming character, which appears to have a masculine physique. Of course, given thatResistanceis bundled withResident Evil 3, it is possible that the upcoming character will be either Carlos Oliveria or Nikolai Ginovaef.

To the uninitiated, Nikolai is one of the villains inResident Evil3and almost succeeded in preventing the escape of Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliveria. Of course, while it is possible that the new character will be fromResident Evil 3, it could be a character from other Resident Evil games, or even someone new.
Apart from the mysterious character, which may or may not jointhe list of Masterminds, Capcom’s announcement hinted that something new will be introduced inResident Evil Resistancein June. In the photo posted on Twitter, the month of June has an “Under Construction” tape beneath it, suggesting that a major change will be introduced in the game.
