Cyberpunk 2077did not have the best first impression for many of its players. The game suffered from one of the most publicly criticized launches in gaming’s recent history, with many PS4 and Xbox One players unable to play the game, as well as current-gen and PC owners experiencing a wealth of bugs and other problems as they tried to explore the story and world of Night City. However, things have gotten progressively better with time for the game, especially with the release ofPatch 1.5 that saw some major changes toCyberpunk 2077.

After CD Projekt Red, the studio behindCyberpunk 2077,announced that it would beworking on a newWitchergame, many assumed that the work on the former title would be slowing down. However, a recent stream by CD Projekt Red’s Quest Director Pawel Sasko may prove otherwise. In his livestream, Sasko was asked by chat about future updates and what they may look like, to which the developer responded that he and the team are aware of “work to be done” onCyberpunk 2077.

Sasko wasn’t able to give away many specific details on what updates may look like, though he did speak a bit more on the matter ofCyberpunk 2077’sfuture improvements. The Quest Director said that he was reviewing new quest ideas on a daily basis, responding to some fans who wondered why not every major character from theCyberpunk 2077initial setting showed up in the game. There was also a nod to Patch 1.5, something that Sasko said gave his team an incentive to keep working for future updates.

Finally, Sasko gave fans the most promising piece of information about what could be coming toCyberpunk 2077.Though he claimed he couldn’t tell fans about future plans, Sasko then went onto say that he can assure fans that “we are working on expansions - we’re working on stuff for you guys.” This is not the first time thatstory expansions have been promised by theCyberpunkteamas last month, another CD Projekt Red developer assured fans that more content was coming.

Although these DLC expansions have been confirmed multiple times by CD Projekt Red, many are unsure as to what they will look like. Some are hoping for a new portion of the map to be explored inCyberpunk 2077, while others wish that the lifepaths available in the base game will have more of an emphasis. With Patch 1.5 showing the game in a much better state, a lot of fans are hoping thatCyberpunk 2077’sexpansionswill be coming soon.

Cyberpunk 2077is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
