PS Plus Offers More Games for November 2021
November’s roster of free PS Plus games consists ofFirst Class Trouble,Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, Knockout City, The Persistence, The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, andUntil You Fall. On the other hand, Microsoft announcedno changes to the number of free Xbox Games with Gold for November, buut players will get access toMoving Out, Kingdom Two Crowns, Rocket Knight,andLEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.
Xbox Games with Gold Still Hasn’t Included a Next-Gen Game
One of the most prominent criticisms players have of Xbox Games with Gold is the lack of Xbox Series X/S games being offered through the service. Meanwhile, ever since the release of the PS5 last November, Sony has consistently included one title from the next-generation PlayStation console. It remains a mystery whyMicrosoft has not been willing to include a next-gen game in its rosteras Sony does, but the company is likely reserving Xbox Series X/S games for Game Pass.
PS Plus is offering two PS5 games this month:First Class Trouble, which just released on PS4 and PS5 alongside its inclusion; andKnockout City.While it is not made specifically for the PS5,Knockout Cityjust received a next-gen update several days agothat includes a graphical overhaul.
Both Services Offer Decent Games for Co-Op Fans
Similar toPS Plus,Xbox Games with Goldis offering severalco-op games this November. All its included titles exceptRocket Knighthave some sort of a co-op multiplayer mode. InMoving Out,players work together to transport furniture, boxes, and more safely and efficiently onto a loading van.Kingdom Two Crownslets players work together to manage and rule a kingdom, allowing them to have two different mounts and collect more coins and gems. Lastly,LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroesfeatures co-op mechanics as is the standard formula in mostLEGOgames. However, its two-player co-op mode uses a splitscreen given the game’s open-world environment.
