Digital artist Giuseppe Spinelli teamed up with LetsGoDigital to create a customSpider-Man:Miles Moralesedition of the PS5. Although the unofficial console design has not been endorsed by Sony in any way, many fans are interested in the concept he came up with.

Last month,Sony announced the PlayStation 5 prices and release date. The console will come in two versions: PS5 Standard Edition, with a retail price set at $499.99, while the Digital Edition that does not include a disk drive will be marked down at $399.99. Both consoles have been confirmed to release on November 12 alongsideSpider-Man: Miles Moralesas one of its launch titles. Some Sony fans are hoping for special editions of the PS5 consoles, and Spinelli has given those fans something interesting to imagine.

Spinelli has created aMiles MoralesPS5 Digital Editionmock-up to meant to coincide with the game’s release date. Releasing both as a standalone title and in a bundle with a remasteredSpider-Mangame,Miles Moralesis one of the most anticipated games of the early next generation. It’s expected that Sony will eventually have special edition consoles featuring designs of PS5 exclusives, but they likely won’t come until later. Still, many are hopeful that Spinelli’s concept art of theMiles MoralesDigital Edition will become a reality.

Emblazed on the side of the PS5 is a glossy red spider inside of a web to mimic Miles Morales' suit, and LEDs beneath the fans glow red to complement it. The artist didn’t leave out theDualSense controllerwither, and on the DualSense TouchPad is Miles' slogan, “Be Yourself,” in red to match the accents and shiny web on its black buttons and controller.

In the past,Spinelli created a concept design for an all-black PS5 consolewith blue LEDs and an all-black DualSense controller design. The 3D artist said that a black console should exist alongside the black and white editions for fans who want to stick to familiar PlayStation designs, so he created an unofficial variant.

This is separate from the recently rumored black DualSense controller with white buttons that was leaked by a Reddit user. The leak suggests that an all-black PS5 may also be in production with an announcement to be determined, so Spinelli’s hope for the single-colored console could be a reality. Whether or not aSpider-Man: Miles Moralesconsole releases as well will have to be seen as the PS5 hits retail stores soon.
