Whether these assumptions prove to be correct, however, remains to be seen.The development history behindCyberpunk 2077is a long and involved one. The first teaser trailer for the game was released all the way back in early 2013 before the game was finally released in late 2020 to a mountain of controversy regarding its performance issues. While this doesn’t confirm anything, it does make it more likely that an announcement will happen during the stream.

As mentioned above, this led the company to indefinitely delay its plans for any and all DLC as it worked to fix the game’s various technical issues. As of this writing, a 1.6 Patch is currently in the works and could possibly be released alongside the planned DLC. Whether a new DLC announcement for the latest game will help the company bounce back remains to be seen.
