The Singularity: Best Non-Teachable Build
This build, aimed at players with fewer perks in their inventory, allows The Singularity to passively slow down generator and healing speeds until a lethal endgame, all the while remaining knowledgeable on the whereabouts ofnearby Survivors. Sloppy Butcher will slow healing as Machine Learning gives players some stealth, and once all generators are powered, Survivors are left exposed by Hex: No One Escapes Death.
Furthermore, since The Singularity can examine his surroundings and guard generators with well-placed Biopods, Bitter Murmer will help in knowing what generators Survivors are working on.
The Singularity: Best Build
Arguably the best build for The Singularity inDead by Daylightcombines some of the most aggressive generator slowdown perks available in the current patch. This build features theall-powerful Killer perksScourge Hook: Pain Resonance and Pop Goes the Weasel for pressure, while Discordance allows The Singularity to keep track of quickly progressing generators. Meanwhile, Corrupt Intervention will help in the early game asthe new DLC Killersets up his web of Biopods.
The Singularity: Best Add-Ons
Nutritional Slurry
A simple Singularity Add-On, which benefits beginners and adepts alike, the Nutritional Slurry grants the Killer2 additional Biopods, allowing for greater map coverage.
Kid’s Baseball Glove
While nothing spectacular, this handy little modifier increases the duration of The Singularity’s Overclock Mode by 15%, giving greater control over Survivors in the chase.
Diagnostic Tool (Repair)
Useful when adopting a hit-and-run strategy, the Diagnostic Tool (Repair) inflicts theMangled status ailmenton Survivors hit during Overclock Mode. For 60 seconds, their healing speeds are slowed by 25%.
Cremated Remains
To disorient Survivors and prevent them from relying on aura reading perks likeWindows of Opportunity, the Cremated Remains inflicts theBlindness status ailmenton anyone afflicted with Temporal Slipstream.
Nanomachine Gel
Similar to Diagnostic Tool (Repair), the Nanomachine Gel Add-On for HUX makes Survivors hit during Overclock ModeBroken for 30 seconds, completely preventing healing.
Live Wires
Helpful for determining Survivor positions, Live Wires causes anyone who iscleansed of a Slipstream to scream. This can be used to learn what generators Survivors are likely to be working on and where they might be resetting health states — moreover, it can’t be countered byJeff Johanson’s Distortion.
Soma Family Photo
Some will argue that the Soma Family Photo is The Singularity’s strongest Add-On, particularly when paired withThe Xenomorph’s Rapid Brutalityperk. This sentimental image gives The Singularity a5% Haste effectwhile in Overclock Mode, at the cost of a 20% decreased duration — handily, this downside can be offset with the Kid’s Baseball Glove.
Crew Manifest
Like Live Wires, the Crew Manifest is an information Add-On. However, its key difference is that it requires no input from the Survivor to function. When a Survivor is Slipstreamed by any means, theiraura is revealed for 8 seconds, giving The Singularity a massive advantage at high-walled loops where their view is obstructed.
Denied Requisition Form
Another of The Singularity’s best Add-Ons, the Denied Requisition Form makes all Survivorsstart the trial Slipstreamed. Moreover, EMPs take 30 seconds longer to be printed. This, in effect, allows The Singularity to ensure a speedy down without having to worry about EMPs or infecting Survivors in the early game.
