Dead by Daylighthas announced that its newest Bloodrush event will start this weekend.Dead by Daylight’s Bloodrush eventsare highly anticipated by players because they offer a week’s worth of bonus Bloodpoints earned at the end of each trial. Bloodpoints that players earn each trial are multiplied by 1.5 for the duration of the Bloodrush, which may entice players to play more throughout the week in order to obtain as many Bloodpoints as possible.

Bloodrushes are not to be confused withDead by Daylight’s Bloodhunts, which effectively earn players a bonus of 2x Bloodpoints for the duration of a single weekend, rather than the 1.5x Bloodpoints earned throughout an entire week for a Bloodrush. The most beneficial part of Bloodrushes and Bloodhunts is that their multiplier bonuses are associated to any and all Bloodpoints earned post-trial, which means that players will berewarded generously inDead by Daylightfor skillful achievementsand casual gameplay alike.

The Bloodrush runs from Friday, January 14, until the following Friday, January 21. This should ensure that players have ample time to play and earn Bloodpoints at their leisure. In the meantime, Behaviour has also announced thatDead by Daylight’s Ghost Face killer characteris on sale for 50% off through Steam from today until January 24. The discounted sale on the slasher franchise’s iconic antagonist is perhaps meant to coincide with the theatrical release ofScream’s fifth installment this Friday.

The rest of January should be fairly exciting forDead by Daylightplayers as the Bloodrush event nears and the release of the game’s mid-chapter update looms.
