Whether through authentic or custom-built sets, LEGO has remained relevant for many years due to its ability to tie into near any modern element of pop culture. FromUntitled Goose GametoOverwatch, video games are no exception, with both LEGO itself and the products vast number of fans using the colorful toy bricks to create stunning replicas of their favorite franchises and titles. The most recent of these loving odes to massive franchises happens to beDeath Stranding,with one fan imagining Hideo Kojima’s crazy sci-fi postman simulator in a whole new light.
Posted on Reddit by user Legopard, theDeath Strandingfan decided to replicate some of the game’s main characters through the use of the iconic toy. The results are incredibly authentic, with each of the main characters posted in Legopard’s image almost appearing as if from an actual Lego set.

The image shown by Legopard containsfive different characters fromDeath Stranding. First is Lea Seydoux’s Fragile, who carries her signature umbrella and is donning her black suit and gloves. Next is Die-Hardman, who is sporting the now-iconic mask he wears throughout the game as well as his formal suit. On his left is the game’s protagonist, Sam Bridges, who is perhaps the most impressive of the lot. Not only does he have Norman Reedus' long hair, the Odradek Terrain Scanner and the BB tank strapped to his torso, he’s also carrying a mountain of yellow cargo on his back which is eerily similar to the comically large stack of items Sam can carry on deliveries.
Alongside these three heroes, Legopard also opts to design the villains, including Troy Baker’s Higgs. He dons the golden skeletal mask that the character wears at points throughout the game as well as his own black terrain scanner. Last but by far not the least, Legopard has also designed the games monstrous foes, showing a number of the game’sshadowy BTs. Legopard has opted to make the creatures stand and hover over a black base, simulating the vast puddles of oil that the player has to avoid being ensnared in when captured by the terrifying creatures.
The image shows a clear love forDeath Stranding’sroster of distinct characters and looks incredibly authentic, with a number of the picture’s viewers complimenting the accuracy Legopard put into his creations. It seems to be another in a long line of fan-made projects that show their love for Kojima’s newest work, with one fan making a PlayStation 1 recreation of the game’s first trailer and anothercreating a treadmill controllerthat worked in sync with the game. Kojima’s vision has clearly been an inspiration for many fans, and hopefully, it will inspire many more to come.
Death Strandingis out now on PlayStation 4, with a PC release coming later this year.
