Bungie has officially unveiledDestiny 2Season 14, Season of the Splicer. Set to kick off on Tuesday, May 11 and last until Tuesday, August 24,Destiny 2players will be spending most of their summer blasting their way through Season of the Splicer content. ForDestiny 2fans wondering what’s in store for Season of the Splicer, Bungie has released a calendar and content roadmap to let fans know when they can expect certain content.
Starting May 11,Destiny 2fans can look forward to theintroduction mission for Season of the Splicerthat shows how the Vex have plunged the Earth into an endless night. May 11 will also see the addition ofDestiny 2’s Armor Synthesis system, Stasis Aspect Quests, and the first Override activity, which will take place on Europa. Override, for the uninitiated, is a new 6-player matchmade activity inDestiny 2where players will fight against the Vex. Think of it as Season of the Splicer’s equivalent to the Battlegrounds from Season of the Chosen.

Then on May 14, theTrials of Osiris will begin, followed by the Iron Banner and a new map for Override that takes place on the moon on May 18. May 22 will see the long-awaited return of the Vault of Glass raid, making its debut inDestiny 2after having previously been featured in the firstDestiny 2. On May 25, fans can look forward to the first Weekly Pinnacle Mission, along with a new Override activity on the Tangled Shore.

June 1 will see yet another Weekly Pinnacle mission, with new Weekly Pinnacle missions being added June 8, June 15, June 22, and June 29 as well. June 8 will see the return of the Iron Banner, whereas June 15 will see theVault of Glass raidupdated with challenges. Iron Banner will return yet again on June 29, whereas the Solstice of Heroes will start on July 6. July 6 will also see difficulty options added to the Vault of Glass raid.
August 3 will bring theSolstice of Heroes eventto an end and will see the Iron Banner return toDestiny 2’s Crucible one final time before the end of the Season of the Splicer. On August 10, fans can look forward to an Epilogue that wraps up the Season of the Splicer story. And then they will have a couple more weeks to complete any remaining Season 14 Seasonal Challenges that that may have to tackle, as Season of the Splicer will end on August 24.
Bungie has teased even more new content forDestiny 2Season 14besides what’s listed in the roadmap, so there should be plenty of content for fans of the game to look forward to in the months and weeks ahead.
