Today marked the beginning of a new season forDestiny 2as players flock back to Mercury to check out all new content. Season of Dawn reintroduces Osiris who has returned to fix the time anomaly that resulted from the Vex Undying Mind being defeated by players in Season 8. The new Sundial activity will be the major content component as well as a mission to rescue the legendary Titan known as Saint-14. In addition to activities and quests, new exotic gear has also been added into the game for players to hunt down.

While Bungie chose not to reveal the new exotic gear pieces for Season of Dawn,Destiny 2players have quickly uncovered the three new gear pieces and posted them online for those curious.

The Warlock exotic is known as the Prometheum Spur, and occupies the leg armor slot. It’s gear focused on the Dawnblade subclass as the exotic perk called Embers of Light creates healing and empowering rifts where defeated enemies or guardians were hit with Daybreak active.

For Hunters, they also get exotic leg armor known as The Bombardiers. Parting gift is the exotic perk and it leaves behind an explosive with a short fuse after dodging.

Finally, Titans can obtain the Severance Enclosure chest armor. This armor is subclass neutral, like the Hunter exotic, and focuses on the Titan’s love of punching things. The exotic perk Spheromatik Trigger unleashes a damaging explosion after defeating a Guardian player with a melee hit or an enemy with a finisher.

The best part of this reveal, and also confirmed byDestiny 2community manager dmg04, is that these three exotics are added for all Shadowkeep expansion owners and does not require players to own thepremium battle pass for Season of Dawn.

Even with the new season now live, the experience remains a work in progress. Over the past couple of days, Bungie used its social media accounts to inform players of knownissues that won’t be fixed at the start of Season 9. Issues include minor UI problems like the new Savior seal showing 28 required triumphs even though only 15 are needed. Other problems are linked to gameplay including lost progress for players who leave the A Matter of Time quest too quickly or missing out on rewards for not first linking an Obelisk to the Sundial.
