Blizzard reveals a special Anniversary Event forDiablo 4starting on June 6, offering players plenty of bonuses, a Treasure Goblin spawn boost, and the return of the Mother’s Blessing modifier with a few extra surprises. After originally launching on July 10, 2025,Diablo 4has certainly seen its fair share of ups and downs through its seasonal content deployment.
However, with the arrival of Loot Reborn,Diablo 4is now in the best place it has been in a long while. Featuring reworked mechanics like crafting and loot itemization systems, plus the endgame Helltide activities being updated, fans have not only praised the current state of the game, but even more have logged in. Over on Steam,Diablo 4set a new player milestone, hitting over 29,000 players after the launch of Season 4. With all of the good will, Blizzard announced a new anniversary event that aims to dish out the loot for players.
WithDiablo 4’s launch anniversarycoming up on June 6, Blizzard took the opportunity to reveal a new in-game event players can take part in. From June 6-13,Diablo 4will be seeing increased Treasure Goblin spawn rates across the entire game and these creatures will be offering better items during this span. Not only that, Greed Shrines will also spawn more often in the wild and players may encounter multiple Treasure Goblins at the same time while exploring dungeons.
To go along with these boosted numbers,Diablo 4’s Mother’s Blessing buffwill also be active once more, giving players a 25% XP boost and 50% increase in gold drops. These boosts also apply to Seasonal and Eternal characters, and can stack with items like Elixers and the Urn of Aggression.
Diablo 4 Offers Free Cosmetics During Anniversary Event
Alongside those gameplay changes, Blizzard is giving away cosmetic items inDiablo 4’s in-game shop from June 6-20. While the free cosmetics don’t actually include character skins, Blizzard did reveal 5 unique weapon skins like a double bladed axe, a glowing red sword, and more. Fans can also obtain two Horse Mount skins, with one version adorned in bones while the other is showing its bones as it appears to be decaying or reanimated in some capacity.
While taking part in the festivities, Blizzard is hoping thatall theDiablo 4: Loot Reborn changeswill make those casually checking out the game stick around after. Masterworking, an end game way to refine weapons, has proven to be a big hit with players who are able to influence and create weapons that are truly unique and powerful. In addition, the Tempering system lets players add affixes to gear while leveling, giving them more direct control over their gear rather than hoping for the best random rolls at the Occultist NPC.
