There are many resources that can be acquired inDisney Dreamlight Valley. Someare used for cookingwhile others are used for crafting. Some resources in the game could be seen as the basic building blocks of crafting inDisney Dreamlight Valley. While Iron Ore could certainly be considered to be one of those resources, another one would beCotton.

In contrast to Iron Ore, Cotton can be found later on in the game. In spite of that, a lot of crafting recipes that are currently in the game require it. This guide will showDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers where they can find Cotton and what it is used for.
Where To Find Cotton
While many resources grow on their own, that is not the case for Cotton. In order to get Cotton,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers will need to plant it themselves. In order to do this, players will need to unlock the Sunlit Plateau biome. After unlocking it, players will need to find Goofy’s Stall and repair it.
This is the stall where players will be able to purchase Cotton Seeds, but they may need to upgrade the stall at least once to purchase them. Cotton Seeds only cost 42 Star Coins, so players can easily purchase as many as they need. If players happen to be short on Star Coins, there are quitea few ways to get more.
How Long Does Cotton Take To Grow?
While some crops that can be grown byDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayerstake several hours to grow, that is not the case for Cotton. Once they have been planted and watered, Cotton takes 25 minutes to fully grow. As far as location goes, it doesn’t matter where players choose to grow Cotton as it can grow in any biome.
What Is Cotton Used For?
As mentioned earlier, Cotton could be considered one of the building blocks of crafting. Cotton is used to make Fabric, which requires 5 Cotton. Fabric is used in manyrecipes for creating furniture.One example of this would be a Wooden Table, which can be crafted with 20 Softwood and 2 Fabric.Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers that want to make the village a winter wonderland can do so with Fabric, as every single Snowman that can be crafted requires 2 Fabric as part of the recipe.
Beyond just crafting for the sake of decorating, Cotton has other uses as well. Anna has a Friendship Quest where she asksDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers to help her repair some mountain climbing gear for Kristoff. Among other resources, repairing the climbing gear requires 5 Fabric (which means players will need to acquire 25 Cotton to make all the Fabric that is needed). AsDisney Dreamlight Valleyis in Early Access, it is entirely possible that future quests and recipes will be added in the future.
