Going out at night inDying Light 2is normally incredibly risky, as Villedor becomes a lot more dangerous when the sun sets. However, oneDying Light 2player recently encountered a glitch that made the game’s nighttime chase sequence a whole lot more bearable.

Many players seem to be enjoying the freedom and excellent traversal options available inDying Light 2, however, the game has had its fair share of glitches a week into its launch. While some of these glitches and bugs have been game-breaking, the most recent glitch a player has found is far more harmless. OneDying Light 2player entered a nighttime chase sequence while it was still daytime in-game, which made the experience far less bothersome.

The worst the glitch can do is break a player’s immersion, but this too is not an issue as it only occurs when a player has the crafting menu open for too long. The glitch can also be fixed if the player sleeps or dies.

If players want to make nighttime even more difficult in the game,a fan has created a mod called Extreme Nights forDying Light 2. The mod doubles the length of nighttime and halves the length of daytime, increases the density of zombies significantly, and also spawns more zombies when a chase sequence is triggered. This will increase the difficulty for those seeking a challenge, as moving around Villedor with the mod activated will no longer be a straightforward task.

Techland has also implemented various fixes for the issuesDying Light 2has had since launch, the fixes improved co-op stability, fixes for missing textures and audio issues, bugs leading to infinite black screens, dead body replication glitches in co-op, and an issue that players had when trying to sell valuables to vendors.

In addition,Dying Light 2’s zombie ragdoll physicshas been fixed, as they were not acting as intended on launch. Zombies seemed to float in the air before meeting their fate on the concrete below before the patch, but now fly through the air and bounce off the ground with a satisfying thud.

The company also recently noted thatDying Light 2passed 3 million players on the weekend that it released. This is an exceptional feat, as many reviewers were not impressed with more than a few aspects of the game. Players seem to have overlooked the game’s flaws owing to its exceptional gameplay, which according to some, is even more satisfying than the originalDying Light.
