The “Welcome on Board” story mission takes place around 12-15 hours into the game. Obtaining the UV Flashlight is part ofDying Light 2’s main story, so it’s an unmissable item. Welcome on Board references thePeacekeepers HQ,aship called The Missythat islocated in The Wharf area.
On the ship, Aiden will agree to help Major Jack, and he’ll be instructed to speak to a character called Meyer to find out what the plans are. As a result, Aiden will receive the UV Flashlight, which will prove more than useful as the mission requires the protagonist to explore a nest full of Volatiles.
Upgrading The UV Flashlight
After the mission, the UV Flashlight will become a permanent fixture in Aiden’s arsenal. However, the biggest downside to using is how quicklyits use drains the batteries. Getting caught by a viral or a Volatile when the Flashlight’s charge has drained can mean life or death for Aiden, sending the player back tothe nearestDying Light 2checkpointor base.
