This year is going to be big for gaming, withHorizon Forbidden WestandDying Light 2 Stay Humanarriving in February,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsin March, and the long-awaitedDead Spaceremake currently scheduled for release later in the year. Techland’s upcoming action survival horror title is one of 2022’s most anticipated, andDying Light 2recently became the most wishlisted game on Steam, surpassing evenElden RingandHollow Knight Silksong.
The original game, which came out in 2015 and sold nearly five million copies in just a few months, tells the story of Kyle Crane, who is sent into the quarantine zone of a zombie-infested city. The sequelwill feature a new protagonist and setting, as well as a map four times larger than that ofDying Light.And the game’s developers have stated thatDying Light 2 will offer 500 hours of gameplay, covering the time it will take to beat the main story, side quests, uncover the entire map, find every collectible, and see all endings.

To prepare for the release ofDying Light 2on February 4, Techland has teamed up with BenQ MOBIUZ to release a limited edition gaming monitor. The EX3210RDying Light 2 Stay HumanNight Runner’s Edition features a 32-inch curved display,AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, HDRi, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1 ms response time. The monitor also comes with two 2W speakers and a 5W subwoofer for those times when it’s necessary to forgo a headset. It goes on sale for $599.99 in February and can be pre-ordered beginning January 21, and those who purchase the monitor will receive a Steam code for a standard digital copy ofDying Light 2 Stay Human.
The curved screen of the EX3210R matches the shape of the human eye for a natural viewing experience, and also features a large field of view and exceptional viewing angles. BenQ’s proprietary HDRi technology uses a sensor to optimize the monitor’s dynamic range based on the room’s lighting conditions and can even add high dynamic range to non-HDR content. The monitor’s Light Tuner technology allows players to control the balance of light and dark on the display, rather than just increasing gamma or contrast. As for quality of life additions, the BenQ limited editionDying Light 2 Stay Humanmonitor comes with two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, one USB 3.0 port, an earphone jack, and even a remote control.
Dying Light 2is set 20 years after the events of the first game and tells the story of Aiden Caldwell, who has ventured into an urban setting known only as The City to find his long-lost sister. The story is meant to portray a modern Dark Age, where humanity has reached the edge of extinction due to the viral outbreak that transforms people into extremely aggressive zombies. Because the game is expected to take an incredibly long time to complete fully, Techland has promised to providefive years of post-launch support forDying Light 2.
