AnElden Ringplayer has somehow managed to defeat Malenia in just 10 seconds. Malenia is probably thehardest boss inElden Ring, and she can only be challenged after going through a difficult late-game optional area.

Despite the difficulty of the fight, someElden Ringfans have challenged themselves to take on Malenia in unusual circumstances, making an already challenging battle even harder. As an example, oneElden Ringplayer defeated Malenia at level 1, without rolling for the entire duration of the fight. In addition to these rules, some fans have also shared videos of how quickly they defeated Malenia, with one gamer now completing this task in just 10 seconds.

A Reddit user named jdyhrberg has shared a clip of their battle against Malenia inElden Ring, confirming that they managed to defeat this boss in just 10 seconds. As seen in the video, the player quickly depletes a significant amount of her health using a couple of jumping attacks, as the battle transitions into its second phase. The player then throws a freezing pot at Malenia, before finishing her off with additional strikes in just 10 seconds.

The Reddit poster jdyhrberg mentions that this video was a response to another clip that showed anElden Ringplayer defeating Malenia in 15 seconds. It looks like both gamers utilized the exact same tactic, and while jdyhrberg appears to be a bit faster than the other player named RS_Lionheart, gamers should note that this battle does not take place on New Game+7. In one of the comments, jdyhrberg claims to be utilizing the same build as RS_Lionheart, confirming that they were using the Beastman’s Curved Sword weapon for the purpose of this video.

The player mentions that jump attacks with powerstanced Beastman’s Curved Swords do a massive 4 hit combo, allowing them to trigger various effects in the same move. According to jdyhrberg, katanas inElden Ringwill not be able to match the damage output of this tactic. In another comment, the player claims to have beaten Malenia around 200 times with different strategies.

OtherElden Ringfans appear highly impressed by the video, with many asking about the build to accomplish this task. On the other hand, one gamer doesn’t share the same level of praise, stating that the timer should start after going through the fog gate, to accommodate for the different types ofranged classes inElden Ring.

Elden Ringis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
