Months after launch, many players are still exploring The Lands Between inElden Ring, making new discoveries and diving through the lore of this meticulously-crafted world. Others, meanwhile, are partaking in PvP activities in the game.Elden Ringco-opand PvP isn’t the most straightforward approach in the game, but many are accustomed to it by this point (as well as FromSoftware vets).

However, early on in the game’s life, players found a couple of inaccessible Colosseums scattered throughout the game. There is one in Limgrave, in Caelid, and in Leyndell.Elden Ringlore reveals ritualistic battles once took place in these arenas to honor the Erdtree, but for one reason or another, these rituals were discontinued. Many fans believe these will be dedicated PvP arenas unlocked inElden Ring’s first DLC, especially after some players have taken looks inside by manipulating the game. Interestingly enough, however, one player was summoned there recently for PvP.

Redditor Weebmaster09 recently shared anElden Ringclip, where they reveal they were summoned to the arena from Liurnia. It runs about five minutes, where Weebmaster09 explores the arena in detail. It should be noted that, as this is not legitimately in the game yet,Elden Ring’s Colosseumsare likely to change somewhat before being officially added to the game. At first, it seems the Redditor was hopeful that FromSoftware silently opened the arenas in the game, but that’s not the case.

As pointed out by various comments, this is the result of someone hacking the game and pulling other players into the arena. Many describe it as a cool hack and nothing harmful, at the very least, while others discussed the potential of these Colosseums. One comment even hoped that FromSoftware would do more than just make it a simple PvP area, instead using it to add a survival mode or boss rush element to the game. It’ll be interesting to see howElden RingDLCdoes handle these arenas in terms of PvP, but many are hoping for more PvE content as well.

After all, most major FromSoftware games have been expanded through DLC. It’s also a general rule that bosses inElden RingDLC are generally harder than the base game, meaning whenever it does release, players are in for all new challenges. Perhaps these new challenges could even be more daunting than Malenia.

Elden Ringis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
