Being a Werewolf inElder Scrolls Onlineimparts several passive abilities and unlocks a new Skill Line associated with the disease. While Vampirism is tied to Magicka, Lycanthropy is tied primarily to Stamina, though there are some abilities and Morphs that change the resource used.

Werewolves inElder Scrolls Onlinegain several new skills, primarily based around their bestial transformation that is activated with an Ultimate Ability included in the new Skill Tree. Activating this Ultimate makes nearby foes Feared and increases both Stamina Total and Recovery as well as overall Armor and Movement Speed. The Skill Line includes abilities like Pounce, which can close the distance to a target quickly, and Piercing Howl and Infectious Claws, both very powerful damage-oriented abilities.

One downside of being a Werewolf is that most of their abilities are considered Crimes and will incur a bounty. The other thing to keep in mind is that transforming limits one to only Werewolf skills, so be prepared to do a lot of Light and Heavy attacks while leveling up. To increase the Werewolf Skill Line, players must make kills while in their Transformed state, and it doesn’t increase naturallyalongside Class Skillslike Vampirism does.
How To Become A Werewolf
There are three ways to become a Werewolf inElder Scrolls Online: talking to Thoreki, getting infected by a player, or by buying the affliction from the Crown Store. Because Lycanthropy can be transferred in-game, it’snot recommended to waste Crownson this transformation. Getting infected by another player is pretty simple: message Zone Chat in popular areas (Vvardenfell, Leyawiin, etc) to find someone who is willing to travel to a Ritual Site and bite you, and consider giving them some kind of tip in return.
Alternatively, players can contract Lycanthropy from NPCs throughout Bangkorai, Reaper’s March, and The Rift (the same Zones where Ritual Sites are found). If you can’t find a Werewolf here at night to infect you, instead look for an NPC named Thoreki in Evermore, Rawl’kha, or Riften. Talking to himstarts the Werewolf questlinewithout paying Crowns or interacting with other players.
