LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagais an upcoming entry into theLEGO Star Warsseries and will differ from many of theLEGOStar Warsgames of the past.LEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Sagawill allow players to start the game from any of the nine Skywalker movies, instead of forcing players to run through them in a linear fashion. Not only has the progression been reworked, but the combat has also been revamped, allowing lightsaber characters to utilize more combos and force powers, whereas blaster users will be able to shoot in over-the-shoulder third-person perspective.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagawill feature five story levelsin each of the Skywalker saga episodes, meaning there will be at least 45 story levels worth of content. Though it’s still early to tell, there very well could be more content to explore beyond the saga episodes. UnlikeLEGOStar Warsgames of the past, players won’t be confined to a simple hub area, but instead, be able to explore each ofStar Wars' planets featured in the saga episodes as hub worlds themselves.LEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Sagawill feature over 300 playable characters throughout all nine saga episodes, making for the most jam-packedLEGOStar Warsgame to date.

Star Wars Original Trilogy Planets
When it comes to the order that fans new and old may re-watch the Skywalker saga movies, it is entirely up to them. This list, however, will start with the planets confirmed that first made an appearance in the original trilogy. AsLEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Sagawill include all nineof the Skywalker saga movies, it might be safe to say that all of its planets, moons, and starship set pieces will be featured, though it is still too early to tell exactly. Still, there are a large number of planets and moons already confirmed to be playable, and being the ultimateLEGOStar Warsgame, it’s a large number already.
The original planet that any fan ofStar Warsshould know. It’s the planet that has appeared in countlessStar Warsvideo games and movies, and was the first set-piece for the first movie. NoStar Warsgame would be complete without the inclusion of Tatooine. Though Yavin 4 is not a planet itself, it is another big set-piece and is where the rebels kept their base. Yavin 4 is one of many moons around the gas giant Yavin and has made an appearance in many games and books over the years. Of course, the Death Star will also be an explorable area, as well as many kinds of Star Destroyers.
Much like Tatooine, it’s hard to imagine aStar Warsgame without Hoth, or an ice planet equivalent. Single biome planets are quite popular in sci-fi, andStar Warsis no exception. Hoth is the planet where the rebels hid their base inStar Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and has been featured in many video games since the movie’s initial release. Dagobah is the planet where Yoda went to hide from the Empire, and where Luke Skywalker initially trained to become a Jedi, like his father before him. Much like Yavin, Bespin is a gas giant with a layer of breathable air where Cloud City is situated. These three planets are iconic in their own right and are welcome areas to beexplored in the upcomingLEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
From the original trilogy, there are a few planets that so far have not been confirmed to be playable, and these are Alderaan and Endor. Though Endor is the planet,inStar Wars Return of the Jediit was the forest moon of Endor where the rebels met the Ewoks to take down the Empire. Alderaan had been destroyed by the Empire inStar Wars A New Hope, though the planet is very much explorable in games likeStar Wars The Old Republicand made an appearance inStar Wars Revenge of the Sith, so it is quite possible it will make a return.

Star Wars Prequel Trilogy Planets
No matterhow people might feel about theStar Warsprequels,it can’t be denied thatStar Wars Episodes 1 - 3have a large fanbase. Building on what the original trilogy created, the prequels introduced many new concepts to theStar Warsuniverse. On top of this, the prequels also introduced new planets and planets mentioned but never seen before, many that have made appearances in otherStar Warsgames. These are the planets confirmed to be featured inLEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Sagathat first appeared in theStar Warsprequels.
As first seen inStar Wars The Phantom Menace,Naboo is the luscious planet that could probably be compared to how Alderaan is depicted. It is where Chancellor Palpatine rose to power and where many important battles take place. Naboo has been featured in many video games before, and as a fan favorite planet of the prequels, it will continue to be featured withLEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Saga.Coruscant is another very popular planet in that it is one giant city covering the entire planet. Coruscant, much like Naboo, is featured in manyStar Warsvideo games includingThe Old Republic.
Star Wars The Clone Warssaw some rather unique planets make their introduction as Obi-Wan explored the galaxy looking for clues. Kamino is a planet consisting entirely of water, where the clones were first engineered.In the originalStar Wars Battlefront 2,Kamino was featured as a large indoor and outdoor map that players could run around contesting key areas. Another large map featured in the popular shooter was Geonosis, a desert-like planet opposite to that of Kamino. Much like Kamino, Geonosis was also creating an army though it would consist of battle droids instead of clones.
The homeworld of the Wookies, Kashyyyk, will be a playable planet inLEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Sagamuch like it was in many otherStar Warstitles. It is described as a lush forest planet where Yoda traveled to help defend from the rising Empire. Utapau is the planet where General Grievous was found by Obi-Wan and ultimately defeated on. Mustafar is a volcanic hellscape that ends up being the large set piece forthe end ofStar Wars Revenge of the Sith.TheStar Wars Battlefrontgames featured these planets in a large way and it is great to see them make a return. Some planets not yet confirmed to be included from the prequels are Mygeeto and Felucia.

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy Planets

Though fan opinions of the sequel trilogy might vary, there is no doubt that the sequels have introduced many more set pieces forLEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Sagato explore. These are the planets from the sequel trilogy that are confirmed forLEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
This is just about every planet introduced in theStar Warssequels, and 12 are going to beavailable to explore inLEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Saga.This is a rather big deal as this is the same number of original trilogy and prequel trilogy planets combined that are confirmed playable in the upcomingLEGO Star Warsgame. The only planet introduced in the sequel trilogy not confirmed is Hosnian Prime, a planet that served as the headquarters for the Galactic Senate. As such, it may be included in the final product but it is still too early to tell. With an emphasis on open-world exploration,LEGOStar Wars: The Skywalker Sagaseems like it will be one of the biggestStar Warsgames ever made.
