Everything You Need to Know About the ‘Demolisher’ Class
Demolisher is the third of four characters classes that will be available for players immediately upon the game’s launch in a couple of weeks. Not unlike the Gunner class, the Demolisher is equipped with a standard Rifle in its primary weapon slot. However, it’s the secondary weapon slot where things start to get interesting, operating a variety ofheavy weapons including Smart Guns, Grenade Launchers, and Flamethrowers.
In terms of abilities, the Demolisher uses Micro-rockets, launching three rockets that will immediately detonate on impact, and Blastwave, a concussive wave of energy that knocks enemies back and damages them in the process. Finally, the Demolisher’s Perk is called Clear the Room and grants bonus weapon damage that stack equal to the number of enemies damaged by either of the class abilities.
Everything You Need to Know About the ‘Doc’ Class
Following Gunner, Technician, and Demolisher, the Doc is the final character class that will available right out of the gate inAliens: Fireteam Elite. Described as a “Field Medical Service Technician,” Doc’s are essential to any fireteam, and come equipped with a range of abilities that heal teammates and enhance performance.
Equipped with a standard Rifle in the primary slot and a Handgun in the secondary slot,Doc’s abilities include Trauma Station, a deployable device that heals nearby players, and Combat Stims, stimulants that increase allies Accuracy and Stability by 50%, Stamina Regen by 30%, and Movement Speed by 15% for all nearby players for a limited time. The Doc class Perk is called Triage, increasing incoming healing for nearby players by 10% and increasing the Doc’s Power Recharge by 10% for each nearby ally (stacking with multiple players).
Everything You Need to Know About the ‘Recon’ Class
The fifth andfinal playable character class inAliens: Fireteam Eliteis called Recon, and will be unlocked once players have beaten the game’s main campaign for the first time. The Recon class comes equipped with a Rifle “for Sniping” in the primary slot, and a close-quarters weapon such as a Shotgun or Sub-Machine Gun in the secondary slot.
In terms of class abilities, Recon uses PUPS, a small drone used to reveal nearby enemies positions and lower incoming damage by 20%, and Support Drone, a deployed drone that lands in a designated zone and replenishes ammo, increases accuracy and stability by 20%, and returns a small amount of HP for each kill. The Recon class Perk is called Focus and grants a stack of Focus (stacks up to three times) for each headshot kill on an enemy marked by PUPS, increasing accuracy and stability by an additional 10%.
