Since 2004, the RPG series has seen three mainline entries and a handful of spin-offs, but the series fell into dormancy in 2014 after a remake of the first game,Fable Anniversaryreleased for Xbox 360. The post accompanies various screenshots captured in-game that showcase the visuals of the game, including Dave the Giant, a foe that folks have seen in the latest trailer for the fantasy RPG.

In response to the tweet, a lot of fans are excited about the return of Microsoft’s exclusive RPG series, with replies praising the hard work the team is putting into the game. The positive comments are in stark contrast to what is being seen on YouTube wherethe latestFable 4trailer is saturated with dislikes. The reasons for this are vague, but a few of the comments allude to the protagonist’s looks being one of the potential causes of this.

WhileMicrosoft confirmed first-party games didn’t use CGI in their trailersduring the showcase, it is worth noting that the reel forFable 4did not distinguish whether PC or Xbox Series X footage was used.
