Fae Farmis a cozy, magical adventure and farming game. Azoria is a magical land full of unique characters and creatures that players get to call their home. They can save the realm orbuild a profitable farmto keep busy, but there is also an opportunity to romance other villagers and enjoy the perfect love story.
While romance isn’t required inFae Farm, players will have multiple opportunities to woo certain characters. They can keep things casual with occasional flirting, or commit to getting married to their one true love. This guide has everything players need to know about getting married inFae Farm.
How Romance Works in Fae Farm
Romance inFae Farmis relatively similar to dating in real life. Players must interact regularly with their chosen partner or partners to get closer to them.
There are six marriage candidates in Azoria who all appear at various points in the game. Players can take their time finding the one if they want a chance to date all of them. Players can start talking to romanceable charactersafter the first couple of chapters.
Players must talk to their dates, give them gifts, and complete Romance Quests to get closer to them. All romance candidates have an affection meter that players can track from their menu.
Until marriage, players are free to romance as many candidates as they want without hurting relationships. As affection increases, players will enter the following stages with them:
CompletingRomance Quests and gift-givingare the best ways to increase affection levels. Whenever a romanceable character has a quest, a heart icon will appear above their head. Romance Quests are like any other quest, but are only available for one day. Players will usually need to get an ingredient, item, or mineral.
Gift-giving is another solid way to increase affection. Players can see their desired gift whenever they talk to one of the romanceable characters. This changes daily, so be sure to take it to them that same day.
How to Go on Dates in Fae Farm
Talking to potential partners daily makes them closer, but the real goal is to land a date if playerswant to get married. Players can only propose to someone if they’ve gone on dates with them. Once players have a high enough affection level with someone, they will receive a letter asking if they want to go on a date.
There are five dates that players can go on where they’ll learn more about their partner and get even closer to them. Whenever a date is available, talk to the candidate and select “Go On Date” to trigger a small cutscene.
How to Get Married in Fae Farm
To get married inFae Farm, players must reach the Getting Serious relationship status with at least one romanceable character. They must also go on the “Last Date” with them.
When players are ready to commit and have completed all the requirements, they can select the “Propose Marriage” option for their chosen partner when speaking to them.
They will have a fiance once they confirm they want to go through with the marriage. Players will then need to speak to Mayor Merritt and purchase aMarriage License for 10,000 Florins.
The wedding will occur the following day, and their partner will move into their homestead. Any other potential romance characters will become Old Flames at this point. Divorce is not an option, so choose wisely when getting married.
