Developer Fallen Leaf’s debut psychological thrillerFort Solissees players in the shoes of Jack Leary, an engineer on the planet Mars, responding to a distress signal from the nearby Fort Solis. Upon his arrival, the outpost is abandoned, and an eerie plot begins to unravelthe more the player explores. In Chapter 1: “Dark Descent,” Jack must reach the Atrium in the center of Fort Solis and explore the various wings and floors to find out where the inhabitants have gone.
After checking out the Offices and Crew Quarters, Jack will be prompted by Jessica over his headset to investigate the Medical Bay for further clues. The Medical Bay is located on level B2, along with the Greenhouse, and should be relatively easy to find. Upon entering, players will noticea large trail of bloodon the floor leading tothe Surgery Room. to complete Chapter 1 and progress with the story, it will be necessary for Jack to gain access to the Surgery along with what lies inside.

Surgery Location
The Surgery issituated within the Medical Bay, which is found on the lower levels of the Atrium along with the Drill Room and Greenhouse tunnel entrances. It is particularly menacing given the alarming trails of blood leading to it from the main lobby. Initially, the area will beoff-limits to the player, regardless of their currently acquired access key cards. In order to unlock this door and progress, players must search through the other door labeled"Subsection C,“in which they will find a series of rooms.
It may require some backtracking to locate the computer since the game does not mention that the door needs to be opened in this way. Having unlocked the door, the player should follow the same path taken back towards the lobby area with the blood stains. So long as thecontrol panel of the door is bluerather than red, Jack will be able to enter and progress with the mission at hand.
How To Unlock The Door To The Surgery
In order to unlock the door that provides access to the Surgery, players will need to first make their way toWyatt Taylor’s private office. The office is located at the far end of Subsection C in the Medical Bay, and players will have to pass through a number of rooms to reach it. Once inside, players can then accessWyatt’s terminaland view his emails and voice recordings in which he expresses concern about the work going on in the Greenhouse.
By navigating to the Surveillance tab within the terminal, players will then gainaccess to a series of camerasoverlooking various points around this station.Engaging with the camera pointed toward the Surgery door, Jack is able to unlock it. Following this, players should head back to the main hallway of theMedical Baywhere the blood was smeared across the floor, and the Medical Bay door should no longer be marked red and locked but should instead turn blue and enable Jack to pass through.
