Fortniteplayers will be able to easily jump back in and continue their progress with these next-gen versions of the game, with Epic Games noting how it’s also a “great time to jump in” for those curious about trying it for the first time, even if it’s just to take a gander atJoe Biden’s custom map.

Epic Games promises that Xbox Series X/S owners can experience the popular Battle Royale game with 4K resolution at 60 FPS on the Xbox Series X. It also promised a “more dynamic and interactive world,” which will feature on the Series X version of Microsoft’s consoles. This meansFortniteplayers can enjoy trees responding to explosions, enhanced fluid simulations for smoke and liquid, and all-new Storm and cloud effects in-game.

Xbox Series S owners will also be benefitting from next-generation upgrades.Fortnitecan be enjoyed at 1080P at 60 FPS and will also support “most of the visual enhancements” that will be available on the Xbox Series X. Additionally,Fortniteplayers will be able to get into matches faster thanks to quicker loading performance and even an enhanced split-screen mode, which also supports 60 FPS.
