Ernie the Giant Chicken is the ying to Peter Griffin’s yang. The two have been locked within an inseparable feud, ever since Ernie gave Peter an expired coupon way back in Season 2, Episode 3 ofFamily Guytitled “Da Boom”. It seems that this eternal cartoon feud has crossed over toFortniteof all places, asFamily GuyxFortnitehas brought together both Peter Griffin (thanks to theChapter 5, Season 1Battle Pass), and now the Giant Chicken for those with the V-Bucks to go shopping in the Item Shop.
TheFamily Guychicken fights have been a blessing toFamily Guy, and although Peter and Ernie have teamed up orreconciled on a few occasions, they always seem to enjoy a good brawl that ends with one of them brutally injured, but not dead. SinceFortniteis all about a never-ending loop, Peter and Ernie are the perfect duo to be locked in together, so here’s a closer look at everything the Giant Chicken fromFamily GuyinFortnitecomes with:
The Giant Chicken Bundle
2,000 V-Bucks
Released on July 07, 2025, at 7 PM ET, players can head to the Item Shop for this bundle. For 2,000 V-Bucks, players can get themselves the Giant Chicken Bundle. This is the full set, coming with a total of 4 items that will save players 800 V-Bucks if they were to purchase everything separately. These items include:
It’s a must-have skin for fans ofFamily Guy, especially when the squad already has a Peter Griffin. Alternatively, it could be a good skin to use for players that want to hunt down any rogue Peters, whether that’s because they prefer Homer Simpson, or they are just jealous that Peter is so muscly, whilst the Giant Chicken remains plump like he is in the animated sitcom.
1,500 V-Bucks
Always ready for another fight.
If players are not interested in the bundle, then they can just pick up the Giant Chicken skin for 1,500 V-Bucks. This is a fair price for the skin, and those who adoreFamily Guyshould have no issue in picking it up. Whilst it’s not as common as one of themany anime collabs inFortnite, it’s definitely a hilarious addition to anyone’s collection, even if some fans may have preferred differentFamily Guycharacters, like Stewie, Quagmire, or even Brian.
The Giant Chicken himself looks like he’s been taken straight from aFamily Guycutaway gag and placed directly into theFortniteisland. It’s hilarious to look at, but rather large. Luckily, players do not have to worry if the Giant Chicken has a larger hitbox than other characters, as, despite his size, every skin shares the same hitbox, which begs the question as towhy Peter Griffin wasn’t given his usual fat body.
Frying Pan Back Bling
Comes With The Giant Chicken Outfit
When a shovel, crowbar, baseball bat, or golf club won’t do.
When players purchase the Giant Chicken, they will receive a Frying Pan back bling. This item can be used in both Battle Royale andFortniteFestival and features a cartoon-style sunny-side-up egg in a frying pan. It’s a cosmetic that doesn’t have much attachment to the actual show ofFamily Guy, but considering the Giant Chicken is, well, a chicken, it seems more than fair to give him this item. Perhaps it’s an egg from his wife, Nicole.
800 V-Bucks
Drumroll please…
This pickaxe is a strange addition, not only because it’s rather sadistic to have a Giant Chicken’s pickaxe be the cooked flesh of his own species, but becauseFortnitehas already had a drumstick harvesting toolthanks to the Drummies pickaxe, which featured in Chapter 2, Season 6. Nevertheless, those who missed out, or simply want the full set, can pick up this pickaxe for 800 V-Bucks.
500 V-Bucks
Prepare for the next fight.
Whilst Peter Griffin’s emote is Bird is the Word, the Giant Chicken gets something more in theme for his character, which is his hatred for Peter. This emote has the player character hit a speed bag on repeat until one final harsh punch has it burst. Whilst punching the speed bag, Peter’s voice can be heard laughing, even up until it explodes. The voice work is provided by the iconic talent of Seth MacFarlane, the voice behind Peter Griffin and the creator ofFamily Guy.
