A Reddit user named PotatoCatPi has shared an interesting chart that shows the overall banner sales of the previous double banner that featured the Pyro user Klee and the Cryo claymore Eula. According to the chart, the banner has surprisingly managed to break the record for the lowest number of sales. Many players claim that they did not expect this banner to do so badly in terms of revenue since it features two very popular characters. The Cryo user Eula has been one of the most anticipated characters since her last re-run was way back in 2021, and she went over 500 days without a banner appearance. She is considered one of thebest DPS characters inGenshin Impactwhose kit revolves around dealing Physical damage.
Despite being released a long time ago, Eula still holds the record for the highest recorded damage number inGenshin Impact. However, all these qualities were not reflected in the banner’s sales numbers. The second character, Klee, was one of the first limited five-star characters introduced to the game back in 2020. Even though she was once considered one of the best characters in the game, Klee has been slowly pushed out ofGenshin Impact’s character metaas more complex characters joined the roster.
There are probably multiple reasons why this banner attracted such a low number of sales. One of them is probably the fact that many players are saving up their Primogems for the upcoming months which will be packed with new content.Genshin Impact’s official social media accounts have already confirmed threenewGenshin Impactcharactersthat will join the roster, Lyney, Lynette, and Freminet.
There have already been multiple promotional videos for Fontaine that featured a number of future characters, includingthe new Hydro Archon. Another character who is expected to join the roster fairly soon is Wriothesley who is rumored to be a new Cryo user.
Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
