AGenshin Impactchart reveals the most used characters in the second phase of the Spiral Abyss. This unique domain is widely considered the hardest piece of content in the game as it requires players to clear out 12 different floors, each of which contains 3 chambers filled with multiple waves of enemies.
The Spiral Abyss requiresGenshin Impactplayers to deploy a specific type of team composition that can take advantage of the opponent’s weaknesses. The enemy lineup in this domain resets twice a month which means that Travelers need to constantly update their Abyss teams.

Reddit user hammy851 has posted a chart on the game’s subreddit showing which characters have the highest pick rate in the current version of the Spiral Abyss forGenshin Impactupdate 3.4. At the top of the list with an 88.3% pick rate is the recently introduced Dendo Archon Nahida, also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali and the God of Wisdom. Since her release, Nahida has become a must-have character for most team comps that rely on Dendro elemental reactions. At the moment, she is the only five-star Dendro support in Genshin Impact which means that her Dendro application cannot be matched by any other character on the roster. She is also very flexible as her Elemental Burst grants different buffs depending on the element it’s combined with.
The second character on the list 83% is thepowerful four-star Pyro user Bennettwho is by many considered stronger than most five-star characters inGenshin Impact. His Elemental Burst, Fantastic Voyage, creates a huge AoE effect that provides one of the strongest healing effects in the game as well as a decent damage buff. Even though he is mostly used in the support role, Bennett can also fill the main DPS role in some team comps.
The Anemo sword user Kaedehara Kazuha is the third most used character in this version of the Spiral Abyss. Similar to Bennett, he is a neutral support who can fit most team compositions in the game since his Anemo element cannot interfere with the party’s main elemental reactions. He is followed bytwoGenshin ImpactArchons, Zhongli and Raiden Shogun, who are almost always at the top of the Spiral Abyss usage rate charts.
Zhongli can create the strongest shield inGenshin Impact, as well as deal tons of damage with his Elemental Burst, Planet Befall. Raiden Shogun is probably the most popular character in the game which was proven by recent revenue reports which revealed that her previous re-runbrokeGenshin Impact’s overall revenue record.
