Genshin Impactcharacters have always been the main focus of the game which is understandable considering that they are the game’s main source of revenue due to its gacha-based system. Each new update brings at least one new playable character like Shikanoin Heizou who was the only roster addition for the ongoing 2.8 update.
A new post on the officialGenshin ImpactsubReddit has revealed an interesting concept featuring one of the game’s most popular characters. Reddit user CWHardKnight has shared their attempt of turning the famous four-star character Fischl into an adult.

The concept was well received in the community as the post reached over 9k upvotes. Fans claim that the costume looks like it was taken fromHonkai Impact 3rdwhich is the HoYoverse’s second most popular title.Genshin Impactoften takes inspiration fromHonkai Impact 3rdwhen it comes to design and many of Genshin’s characters like Venti, Raiden Shogun or Yae Miko have their respective counterparts in the other game. Multiple replies in the comment section state that HoYoverse should introduce a similar character in the future who could play Fischl’s sister.
A number of fans say that they would actually prefer this adult version of Fischl over the original one in their roster. While there is a chance that HoYoverse gives a model update to some of its characters, it’s highly unlikely that Fischl would be one of them considering that she received anew skin in the ongoingGenshin ImpactVersion 2.8. The costume, Ein Immernacthstraum, can be obtained for free by participating in one of the events named Resonating Vision.
However, it should be noted that once update 2.8 ends, the only way to get the new skin will be to buy with Genesis Crystals in the game’s shop. Fischl was not the only character that received a new skin in this update as HoYoverse introducedGenshin Impact’s first five-star skinfor the popular Pyro claymore user Diluc. When it comes to Fischl’s power on the battlefield, she is still considered an S-tier support even though she is one of the oldest characters in the game.
According to recent leaks, the new Dendro element will introduce numerous new elemental reactions which will apparently make the Electro element much stronger than it currently is. This means that Fischl’s ability to constantly apply the Electro element could become even more useful in the upcoming updates. Rumors have also been hinting that she will be part of the four-star lineup which will be featured on the first limited banner forGenshin Impactupdate 3.0.
