Genshin Impactartifacts are a crucial part of every character’s build, and they have a huge impact on a character’s power on the battlefield. However, farming artifacts can be exhausting for players, and it can take months before they’ve acquired a piece with the right stats.

Rolling the perfect artifact set is almost impossible, considering it has one main stat and up to four different sub-stats. An interesting post on the officialGenshin Impactsubreddit shows an interesting fan-made concept that would make farming for artifacts a much better experience.

Reddit user Axel_Pac has shared his solution for the current artifact problems which would include adding a brand-new item called Artifact Solvent. The item would have the ability to demote their artifact pieces and return them to their original state. This would allow players to try their luck and level the same piece multiple times with the hope that the right sub-stats will get increased. Fans are absolutely in love with the idea of introducing the new item since it would solve a lot of theirproblems while farming artifacts inGenshin Impact.

Whenchoosing the right artifact inGenshin Impact, players usually go by the 3/4 rule, which means a piece is considered decent if it has at least three desired stats. However, upon ascending an artifact piece, the game often increases that one unnecessary stat, which is the exact scenario in which the Artifact Solvent would become extremely useful.

Besides the two new characters, Yelan and Kuki Shinobu, the upcomingGenshin ImpactVersion 2.7will also introduce an interesting addition to the game’s farming system. Players will get various recommendations when choosing the right artifacts for each character in the game. The recommendations will be made based on the overall sub-stat use rate for a specific character. This change will probably save a lot of players from spending hours grinding for the wrong artifact stats.

With the recentGenshin Impactrumors claiming that a new element is just around the corner, farming artifacts could become even more complicated. The addition of the upcoming Sumeru region will most likely add thelong-awaited Dendro elementto the playable roster. Goblets are one of the five types of artifacts and one of the most important parts of a character build as they can include elemental damage for its main stat, which means that adding a new element could decrease the already low chances of acquiring the desired main stat on this piece.

Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
