A new leak shared by prominentGenshin Impactleaker Vississ reveals that players will be able to acquirea free copy of Freminet in Version 4.2. The post does not specify how players will go about claiming the free four-star character, likely attached to an event during the update. Freminet’s free availability follows the three siblings playing a major role in the first act of Fontaine’s Archon Quest, revealing Lyney, Lynette, andFreminet’s connection to the Fatui. The free release also comes shortly after Freminet’s initial debut, first launching during the second half of Version 4.0.
Freminet’s free availability during the Version 4.2 update comes alongside a pair of highly-anticipated characters set to joinGenshin Impact’s roster. HoYoverse would recently unveil the two newest characters joining the RPG, withboth Furina and Charlotte plannedto be added with the update. Furina’s leaks have set her up as a powerful DPS character with an HP-draining mechanic to empower her own attacks and provide boosts to her healing and damage. Leaks about Charlotte have teased her as a healer using her camera for a variety of unique attacks.
While many fans are already looking ahead to the launch of Version 4.2,Genshin Impactis set to add plenty of new content with Version 4.1’s debut later this week. The update is set to add a plethora of new events to the RPG, including a poetry festival in Mondstadt and a fish-blasting mini-game.
