The NoPixel server, one of the most popular servers in theGrand Theft Auto Onlinegaming community, has recently undergone a change in management following a series of controversies. ThisGrand Theft Auto Onlineserver, known for its strict role-playing rules, has gained a dedicated following over the years, with players taking on various roles and immersing themselves in a virtual world of crime and intrigue.
However, over the past few months, the server has been subjected to intense scrutiny due to a string of controversies, prompting many to voice concerns about the server’s management. For example, earlier this month, renownedGrand Theft AutoRP Twitch streamerPenta departed the NoPixel serverand levied serious allegations against Koil, the server’s owner. Penta alleged that Koil engaged in double standards, punishing players for behavior that he himself was not held accountable for. Additionally, he criticized the server’s management for downplaying the seriousness of allegations against a banned NoPixel player and streamer RatedEpicz.

Now,the former manager of the GTA No Pixel server known as Koilhas announced that Buddha, who has been a part of the NoPixel community for many years, has been brought on board to help manage things and steer it in a healthier direction. In a Discord message to fans, Koil cited his wavering enthusiasm forGTA/Streaming and his plans to branch out into other areas to fulfill his creative side. He also expressed his intention to remain involved in the server and streaming, but to focus more on things he enjoys. In addition, Koil expressed his admiration for Buddha’s knowledge of both the roleplay community and life in general, acknowledging that he can serve as an invaluable source of learning for the entire NoPixel community.
Buddha, a popular Twitch streamer with more than 825K followers, has been a regular player on the NoPixel server for years and is intimately familiar with its intricate workings. Notably,Buddha was also recognized as the BestGTARP streamer last year. Nevertheless, only time will tell if he can effectively tackle the current and forthcoming challenges plaguing the NoPixel server.
Currently,Koil is currently facing a lawsuit from a formerGTANoPixel employee, Danny Tracey. The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court of California, revolves around ownership disputes and seeks significant financial compensation. Tracey, also known as DW, claims that he played a critical role in the success of the NoPixel server from early 2020 to the end of 2022. However, a personal dispute between the two in 2022 resulted in Tracey’s termination by Koil. According to the lawsuit, Koil is liable for damages amounting to $150,000.
